"The room was really comfortable and spacious, overlooking the lake, there is a busy road in front of the lake but it’s didn’t bother us too much, could get noisy when the big trucks passed through.. you don’t hear anything if you shut the balcony door. Everything was perfect, i couldn’t give 5/5 because the only issue was the shower control lever was missing a screw so it wouldn’t stay on unless I held it in position which was not easy as the water temperature was not stable unless it wash held in that precise position. We couldn’t report it to reception as they closed at 7pm. Apart from that everything else was perfect."

"Facilities: There's a Nespresso machine, a decently sized fridge, and a heater. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: It was incredibly quiet at night, and the soundproofing was excellent. Service: Entirely self-service for check-in and check-out. It's a quick 3-5 minute drive to Lake Tekapo, and there are separate recycling bins in the yard. It would be even better if there were a few more trash bags in the room. The property has multiple parking spaces, which is super convenient. You can see the stars directly from the property at night. Unfortunately, it was a full moon during my stay, so no Milky Way."

"Unit was easy to find, check in was a breeze. Kitchen was surprisingly spacious and clean! More could be done with the heating, felt likewe were in a little container and we were really cold throughout most of our stay. Otherwise it was wonderful and well located."

"The apartment is quite a distance away from the town centre, especially if you do not have a vehicle, do note that there is no uber in Lake Tekapo, I recommend hiring a taxi (NZD $30) per trip. Although it’s a hefty amount, it will save you a huge effort especially if you do not have a vehicle! But i won’t recommend staying here if you do not have a vehicle! Room is nice, clean!"

"We stayed at this Tekapo home and really enjoyed how spacious it is, especially with two separate living rooms — plenty of room for everyone to relax. The house comes with all the necessary amenities, which made the stay convenient and comfortable. However, a few cleanliness details could be improved. The dishwasher wasn’t clean and didn’t wash dishes properly, and the detergent compartment couldn’t close fully. We also noticed some areas, like the restroom ventilator, had layers of dust and hadn’t been cleaned well. Overall, the space and setup are great, but a bit more attention to cleaning and maintaining would make the experience much better."
