Great communication from them from start of booking to finish,, right in the centre of Lancaster , nice big room size with a big double bed and a single ! Easy to access with clear instructions or where to get the keys from and love that it’s an 11 am check out :) Will definitely be staying over again !

What an ideal place the crows hotel is.ideally situated 5 mins from train station and central to bars and restaurants Hotel was excellent highly recommended.very comfortable bed , lovely bathroom with hot shower, microwave, kettle, all utensils needed ,tea coffee and sugar, biscuits and milk provided .plenty towels for two people.we caught a bus and went to Morecambe for the day not far to travel.easy enough to check in and check out .TV was available if and when needed .live entertainment in quite a few bars all staff in the bars very friendly and helpful.phone number if you need any help or advice (we didn't use it or need it ).free WIFI with password.room was lovely and warm which was good as the weather wasn't to good but it didn't spoil our visit .

Location: excellent - town centre and close to the railway station. On a main road. Check-in: there appeared to be a reception, however it was in darkness and the outside door locked. You have to ring a number posted on the main door for a member of staff to let you in. Room was accessed via a small side road and up an external staircase. The staircase is lit at night . The room was of average size and offered good amenities, including a fridge, table and chairs (no armchair), kettle, microwave, hob and sink. Bathroom was compact but well appointed. Everything was clean. As it was December, I appreciated the radiator (able to control) and heated towel rail. I didn’t think this was an hotel, it felt more like rooms, and disconnected to the hotel. Reception was not open during my stay.

This property is marketed and held out as being a hotel. It isn’t a hotel. We booked online through their website. 6 days before the booking we received an email with photos advising that the check in was via a code on a safe box at the rear of the property, and showing that all rooms are accessed via the exterior of the property at the side and rear. Indeed our room was accessible via a large external potentially dangerous fire escape at the rear. We cancelled the booking the day we received the email, 6 days in advance of the booking. Their website says they only take payment 3 days in advance of the booking, and you can cancel any booking without charge 3 days or more before the booking. In fact they took the payment 6 days in advance, and have failed to reply to emails or calls asking for a refund. The location may be good, but: 1) it improperly markets itself as a hotel, when at best it is serviced apartments; 2) none of the photos on their website suggests access externally only, or via a potentially dangerous fire escape. At worst£150 for the night, it’s almost twice as much as the holiday Inn which is a hotel and has a swimming pool. Rogue business practices in our opinion. Do not stay here

Very good place for a short stay. Easy to check in, room was clean and comfortable. It’s a short walk from the rail station and close to everything in town. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable and good quality. It had the usual conveniences of a corporate hotel room but with a much more personal feel.

Great rooms in the perfect location. Ie stayed many times and have never had any issues. Staff have been friendly and helpful on the occasions I've needed them. I've stayed in almost all hotels in the city centre and Sleep Inn Group have by far the best rooms at reasonable rates

During our tour of the UK, my husband required hospitalization. I needed to quickly find safe, clean accommodations for myself. As mentioned in other reviews, it is minimalist. Around 10 rooms, no lift, no restaurant, and the front desk is not open 24 hours. However, the room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. I easily found a market close by for essentials. I felt safe, and the hotel fit my needs perfectly. Marta at the front desk was indeed my guardian angel during this time of stress. She helped with bags and assisted me in getting transportation when needed. I needed to extend my stay, but they were booked. Marta called other hotels to find a vacancy. When I moved hotels, Marta and the manager personally carried my bags to the new location. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for me. This hotel is part of a group of proud, robust small hotels in the area. I would absolutely recommend them.

Offers a minimalist service (reception only open 8.00 till 5.00, no cafe/restaurant) but you can pick up & drop off keys by arrangement at any time, the staff are dead helpful and the rooms are large and comfortable. And there’s a whole range of eateries nearby: we had a great evening meal 100 yards away at Merchants 1688 and a fine breakfast opposite that at The Brasserie. They found somewhere secure for us to leave our bikes overnight too. A good choice of a place to stay, and the station’s close too as well as the city centre.

Staff does not exist, everything is by phone, check in getting your key from a key box, check out letting the key on a key box. No humans around, nor reception, nothing. Rooms are very standard with two big disappointing issues: first, not elevator so stairs; second, rooms on the second floor, as the one we occupied, have an unbearable hot temperature and no air conditionning. WIthout exageration, with 20º centigrades outdoors, temperature in the room was not lower than 30º in mid June, and only a small table fan to go on. Really unacceptable. If you are thinking in going on summer, just discard the idea of staying here.
