Great wine and food at the restaurant.

It was a really great getaway, although the area is very secluded and not much going on, it does some offer very lovely ammenities and services at the estate.

Really enjoyed our visit to Cleveland Estate. From the moment we arrived, the girl on check-in was absolutely lovely and so welcoming and her smile made such a difference. The food was also better than expected, which was a nice surprise for the area. It’s also in a great spot near Lancefield township, which is lovely to wander around and makes the visit even more worthwhile. Whilst wandering, we saw some other people with a dog, so we enquired about pet friendly rooms and YEP! Next time we are absolutely bringing ours with us!!! :) Overall a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

Stunning location and gardens, rooms clean. We ate at the restaurant the food was very good but the choice is very limited. If you ask to get the steak without the fennel salad for some reason they can’t do that, which was a little disappointing and made the menu even more limited. What we did order was the chicken dish and it was divine. One thing that did stand out with a place of such fine dining the crockery was anko brand which is sold by Kmart, anyone would think a place like this would invest in finer quality crockery and glassware. The buffet breakfast was delicious The staff were very friendly. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

We had booked two nights at Cleveland Estate via Luxury Escapes, we were due to stay on a Wednesday and Thursday of the first week of a Victorian road trip. The Friday prior to leaving we received a call to say that our second night had been doubled booked??? I told them that we had booked two months earlier and was met with a come-back the WEDDING was booked 12 months in advance??? I replied well if that is the case why wasn't I told that two months ago. We then had to scramble to organise accommodation for the Thursday. Just not good enough!

Whilst the property was very attractive and well laid out, the rooms were comfortable and clean, that's where the good news ends. The restaurant was very poor, overpriced mains and the entire breakfast was stone cold, we waited half an hour for a coffee that just didn't arrive. Such a pity the restaurant wasn't up to the standard of the setting.

We stayed 2 nights here for a friend's wedding. The standard suite we stayed at was woefully under par (room 31). Not only did it looked completely different to the images online (even allowing for variations in location & decor), our 'suite' overlooked the carpark and was next to the smoker's area. The room was dark and gloomy with the blinds down, however with the blinds up, there was no privacy as our window was next to the carpark with adjacent foot traffic. We were on the ground floor and every time the guest above us moved, we would hear the floorboards creak. There was absolutely no storage capacity in the room (except a small cupboard with hanging space above the fridge and kettle!). There were 2 hooks in the bathroom, one of which was above the toilet - so essentially nowhere to hang anything. If this is a suite, I shudder to imagine the more 'basic' rooms. For the price, this does not represent value for money. Positives are the beautiful grounds and lovely & friendly staff. The hospitality crew were a young bunch but very helpful and accommodating, so kudos to them.

From the minute we checked into this beautiful venue, the experience was amazing. A friendly, professional front office manager, was our first point of contact. Booked by my partner, for my 60th birthday celebration, the attention and feeling of being welcomed was sensational. The accommodation, just perfect, spotless and detailed to perfection. On to a wine tasting in the underground cellar, was an experience! Great wines, a knowledgeable and friendly young lady hosting, truly well done. A walk through the pristine grounds and vineyard to the terrific restaurant. Great food, good wine list and amazing , friendly and professional service made the whole experience one of extreme satisfaction. The breakfast was terrific, great food offering, and once again the friendly, professional service, to match the night before. All up a must do venue when visiting the amazing Macedon ranges.

The winery was amazing, our room was great, the staff was unbelievable , and as was for the food it was amazing and the staff serving were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we didn't have to ask for anything it just appeared at our ta le at the right time. You should all be very proud with what you do and what you.

Wonderful dining experience - fantastic authentic Italian pizza, great service and such wonderful ambience - the perfect place for dinner. Loved the views out across to the nearby hills. The perfect place to go for pizza as a couple or a group.

The location was absolutely amazing! Such a great spot for a relaxing weekend away. Unfortunately, the facility wasn’t exactly as they advertised. The service and the staff were friendly and attentive, however, the quality of the food wasn’t the best. I was expecting more. The bedroom was nice but we couldn’t open the windows and the towels were stained. I think the venue has an amazing potential but they should change/ be more careful about some details.

Such a beautiful winery, surrounded by breathing taking views. Old buildings giving a feeling of going back in time. The underground cellar will not disappoint. Both food and wine were delicious. We will be back. Staff were friendly and professional. A glass of champagne when we arrived, was a lovely touch to the start of our stay.
