GGuest UserWonderful experience stay at this quiet place. They provide free pick up from train station for 2 nights consecutive stay. Very warm hospitality and friendly host. The host share with us Dali attractions route during our arrival. The place is near to the old town, five mins walking distance. There is steep slope when you walk back to the place. The room is clean and tidy with smart home facility. There are mineral water provided in the room, mini bar in the room also had the mineral water and cold drinks. There are delicious afternoon tea, flower biscuit, night dessert and rice noodles for breakfast. Forgot to take picture of breakfast. The tea and coffee are really good. Highly recommend this place if you come to Dali.

FfoodietravelThe apartment is very clean and big. Very spacious and suitable for family. There's a full kitchen for if you want to cook or have a meal in the apartment. Washing machine is also available, which makes it super convenient. The service was great from the staff. Although location was a bit confusing to find, the staff came out and led our driver to the right place for check in. You can see Cangshan and erhai from the apartment. There's not a lot of food places around as the apartment is on a small mountain apartment complex. However ordering take out is very convenient from your room. Overall a great stay.

GGuest UserHad an amazing stay. Great service - after check in staff will recognize you from then. Wasn’t a typical five star hotel, it feels much more like home, offering a unique, cozy atmosphere. The hotel itself has a lovely local style and is incredibly peaceful. It’s located a bit deeper into the old town, so you’ll need to walk a few steps to get there, but they’ll gladly come out to assist you. (VIVIAN was exceptionally nice and introduced me to some great local eateries and places to visit. She was always ready to accommodate my needs in the best way possible)

I will come again next time and recommend it to more friends around me. The boss is very nice and the service is enthusiastic. There is also a lot of Pu'er tea to drink.

JJamieOur experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

My mother liked it very much. The owner saw that the elderly liked it and gave two cups. It was so thoughtful. The hotel environment is also very good. The garden style is very design-oriented. You can see that the design is attentive. The Chinese garden is combined with modern art. The geographical location is also very convenient. In the ancient city, you can go shopping directly in the ancient city. It is convenient to enter and exit the ancient city. The homestay was newly opened this year, so it is very new and the hygiene is very good. It is very suitable for taking family trips or escaping from the class. The cost performance is very high, beyond expectations, and a very pleasant stay experience. In the morning, I just asked Xiao Ai to open all the curtains and watch the mountain view from the bed. It was so beautiful. The door has a password lock and does not require a room card, which is very convenient. The landlady is from the Northeast, very easy-going and cheerful, and gave some suggestions for visiting.

I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality. The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility. A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels. The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless. The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family. Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

GGuest UserI booked this Wyndham Hotel through Ctrip. Seeing that this hotel is still at the top of the hotel rankings, Ctrip's recommendation is indeed good. The hotel room can see the high-speed rail station, opposite the Dali Station, with convenient transportation and buses downstairs. There are also tea-making tools in the room. I personally think this hotel is really good. If I come to Dali again next time, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.
