GGuest UserMe and my family had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The facilities were amazing, and the outdoor swimming pool is gorgeous. There is also a tennis court, a gym room, an indoor swimming pool and also other facilities. The room is spacious, and the sea view is magnificent. There is also a massive balcony that faces the gigantic ocean. The tub was very nice and there is also a walk-in closet. The hotel lobby is stunning, and the television has movies, tv shows and other kinds of entertainment. Moreover, the staff was helpful. They helped us a lot. For example, we asked to get a bag of ice, and the staff gave us a whole bucket of ice! They even helped us to put the ice into the drink! Also, they gave my 13-year-old son a free breakfast buffet which were not included in the package of the hotel room we booked, which only offers a 2-adult breakfast buffet meal. The hotel is also very clean. Moreover, we would love to thank Minnie and Jane, the two of the most helpful and kind staff we have ever met. They were very nice and helped us with a lot of things and we really appreciate what they helped us. We strongly recommend you stay at this hotel as everything is perfect there and again, we want to thank you Jane and Minnie for their warm services.

NNaughtonWas upgraded to a king suite, which was rather nice. The room is beautiful. Spacious, comfortable, etc. Lovely bathroom, with bath/shower. Reasonable price, considering I've spent as much on worse hotels in HK recently. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My one gripe is the restaurant. I was at the hotel a fair bit due to online work, and would have happily have spent the whole day/evening there, but the food was far too focused on being 'impressive' rather than good. The decor of the restaurant is extremely dated similar to what was deemed 'traditional China' from 20 years ago, which doesn't lend itself to a comfortable eating experience. Would love to have been able to get a steak, or some more commonplace Chinese cuisine, but all the options were too 'arty' without much substance. No reasonable wine list, which was disappointing. Expensive wines with no reputations, and the options in beers was extremely limited. My one real disappointment with the hotel. The swimming pool is outside, with no shelter so the Zhuhai sun is beating down on the swimming area. No real setup for relaxing by the pool, and the pool itself is rather small. Well-maintained but it doesn't really match the photos here. Good photography I guess. However, the hotel itself is lovely. Will definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserHengqin Bay Hotel Changlong is the first choice A very good accommodation experience❤️👍🏻 Whether it is facilities or accommodation conditions, scenery, sea view and garden scenery, they all have their own characteristics. Suitable for all ages such as parent-child, family, business, etc. Parent-child fun is more recommended. Non-winter is the next non-winter. The items are more abundant. Water amusement park, flamingo zoo, parent-child reading are all suitable for children. There are also commuter buses to the Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Park, which is also very convenient. The hotel butler is very considerate. Overall praise from the commentator👍🏻❤️

RRick320Booked 2 king rooms for a short stay with my family. Upon arrival at the hotel I was informed that one of the rooms wasn’t ready, not a problem since we did arrive a little early. Staff graciously asked us to wait as they’d push housekeeping to clean the other room and make sure we could have 2 rooms next to eachother. The rooms themselves look fantastic, the decor is looking a bit worse for wear in places (lots of scuff marks and paint peeling of doors) but the views of Macau are to die for. However I do have serious concerns about the hygiene and cleanliness of the property. Upon entering into my room I smelled a strong tobacco smell, even though it was a non smoking room. The windows both in the living room and bathroom were all smudged and greasy with fingerprints and where people had been leaning against them. I thought maybe this was an oversight from housekeeping but upon checking the other room my family was staying in, I saw that the windows there were just as dirty on the inside. Next were the dead cockroaches in the vase next to the door. These had obviously been there for a while since there was dust on them. How housekeeping could have missed them is beyond me since it’s so obvious and the (empty) vase is located right in the middle of the hallway. The absolute worst however was the wooden box that held the amenities in the bathroom. The box was absolutely disgusting, it was full of dust and had hairs in it from previous guests. When I removed a toothbrush I actually saw little bugs crawling all around the box (see red circle). In my opinion this is not befitting a hotel of this standard and price range. Upon checking out the next day I mentioned these hygiene issues to the lady at the desk who spoke perfect English but didn’t seem to care that much. She gave a very “standard” response saying “I’ll tell housekeeping, I hope you’ll try us again next time”. Zero acknowledgment that this complaint would be taken seriously at all. Unfortunately this is not the kind of response one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. A real shame since other than the obvious lack of proper cleaning of the rooms, the hotel itself is wonderful. The staff is very accommodating and generally speak good English. For a St Regis, the pricing is also very agreeable.

GGuest UserIt is a very nice hotel, very clean and the rooms are big enough and tidy. Our room was in the 32/f facing the city view. The lights in the buildings outside also look nice. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, and definitely no noise from other rooms and no smell of cigarette smoke from the corridors and in our room during our entire stay.

CCurious TravellerWe loved our spacious room with two single beds- which were actually 4 ft wide! Very comfortable indeed. The room was clean and decorated in the very iconic red black and white as with the rest of the hotel. It has all the amenities for a one night stay. Check in and breakfast are nnnon level 31- which has a fabulous view. Breakfast was very reasonably priced , with plentiful selections and the taste was Good. Although it is in the city center and not far from the Macau crossing, it is not accessible by public transportation, best to call cab or Uber. It is only 6 km from the Zhuhai crossing to HK.

LLEE LINGLocation is extremely convenient for travelling within Zhuhai, nearby Macau and Hong Kong. Gongbei port is just 10 minutes walk. A shopping mall is directly under this hotel. Hotel front desk and concierge are helpful. Conceirge even showed me the short cut leading to the Gongbei port. A lot of local guests within this hotel. Quite a few restaurants in this hotel. I tried their hotpot restaurant, beef was fresh, food was tasty and service staff was very attentive. There are plenty of eating places around as well. Facility is old surrounded by very old buildings and streets. Easy to get taxi to move around to places of interests e.g. 日月贝，圆明新园，板樟山 etc. Small swimming pool and gym. Not crowded at all. Water supply from the room was not so good and inconsistent temperature. Thus a little troublesome when showering. I find the most uncomfortable part was the bed. I think the mattress was not in good condition. It was noisy whenever I sat or turned and changed my laying down position. I did not sleep well. Feedback to hotel front desk when I checked out. Hope they address the problem avoid impacting the next guest(s).

@@TauanaI had an incredible stay at Angsana Phoenix Bay Zhuhai! The room was beautifully decorated for my birthday, making it feel so special. The staff were fantastic, especially Hedi, who was exceptionally attentive and kind. I loved the photoshoot gift, and the buffet had a great variety. The spa experience, with a generous discount voucher, was amazing and truly relaxing. I’m definitely looking forward to returning!

DDavid Loo CWCheck in staff was polite. Asked for non smoking room but was shown a room that smelled like a smokehouse, this was after the reception asked the housekeeping to do immediate smoke sanitizer. Requested to change room but was shown another room that was smaller and smelling of smoke. Asked the housekeeping to leave us a bottle of sanitizer and we sprayed the whole room and went out. Returned few hours later but still smelled of smoke, obviously can never get rid of the smell because the smoke smell is already infused into the curtains, bed, blankets and the pillows. If anyone is not tolerant of the smoking smell please don’t consider this hotel. Even the inside of the lift smell bad because they don’t care a damn and still smoke while taking the lift. I don’t think they have any non smoking floors as we can see they supply ash trays in the rooms. They are allowed to smoke everywhere in the hotel, no restrictions. Room is old furnishings but bedsheets and pillow cases are clean. Shower pressure and hot water is good. Amenities are basic but sufficient. Sound insulation is ok and no street noise. Except for the early noise from the nearby construction going on across the road. No fault of the hotel. Location is strategic, walking distance from the Gongbei port if you coming and going to Macau. Coming from Hong Kong by bus, you need to take a taxi to get here. No metro or bus services nearby. The inter state railway station is nearby about a 20 minute walk. 10 minutes walk to Gongbei Plaza and you will find lots of shopping and food. We did a day trip to Macau and walked all the way through immigration and customs inspection. Would recommend to travelers looking for just a place to sleep and explore during the day. Not a holiday staycation kind of hotel unless you are a smoker!!
