KKirsty92It’s a great location for layovers or if you need to be near the airport. They offer an airport shuttle service which is great, especially for when you have a lot of luggage. The breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from and everything was freshly made, delicious too. The room was clean, neat & odor free. Staff was friendly & helpful. Overall, great experience 👍🏼

LLowcle1013The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located for commuting, with the metro and many eateries nearby. There is also a large mall, 富丽海, nearby, which is very convenient for food. The hotel offers many complimentary facilities for guests, including free laundry. The cleaner on our floor, the 5th floor, 邝勤阿姨, is very nice and helped us to clean the room daily and replenish the necessities. I will definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again if I return to Guangzhou in the future.

GGuest UserSimply phenomenal! An observatory and a 5 star suite rolled into one, not a detail was off. The website doesn’t do the rooms justice, they’re good sized and very tastefully decorated (the flowers in the office and the apples by the window were a nice touch). Views are surreal (this is the world’s highest hotel after all), you sit in your king bed or detached bathtub looking down on skyscrapers, higher off the ground than most observation decks. Service was also top notch, got my request for a room on a high floor (104th story, about eye level with the Canton Tower deck) and the ground floor staff were gracious enough to help me send a postcard. Hotel is a few minutes walk from Zhujiang station, and can be reached within 2-3hrs from HK West Kowloon, depending on immigration and train services. Overall a great stay, will return again!

RRitesh KI stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Location is not very great. Breakfast is not very foreigner friendly. If staying for 1 day, the breakfast is manageable but I stayed for 4 days and it's same everyday. They should keep more options for foreigners as well in Breakfast. I had to manage with Bread Omlette everyday. Language is a issue in hotel. Very difficult to communicate in English. They should improve laundry room. Free Airport Shuttle is a very good service they offer. Little bit of rough long walking from/to the metro station and difficult if you carrying luggage. ATM is just next to the hotel so that is very convenient. Overall it's a decent place to stay.

Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the positive reviews I read online, which makes me question their authenticity. **From the very beginning, the check-in process was unpleasant.** The staff displayed a rude and unwelcoming demeanor. When they provided the initial Wi-Fi username and password, it turned out to be incorrect. **We returned to the lobby to address the Wi-Fi issue.** Instead of simply providing the correct credentials, the staff member became impatient and took our phone to set up the connection themselves. When we politely requested the username and password for our computer, they responded with a dismissive attitude, stating they ”already set it up” and questioned why we needed the information. We explained the initial credentials were wrong, and they finally provided the correct username and password written on a piece of paper, further demonstrating their lack of courtesy. **Housekeeping was another area of disappointment.** After our first night, we requested room service. Despite confirming our room number and promising to clean the room later, housekeeping never arrived. Returning to the hotel in the evening, we found our room untouched. We ended up having to replenish our own water bottles and toilet paper. **The airport fetching service we booked was another source of frustration.** We arrived in the lobby early for the arranged pick-up time. However, when the pick-up time approached, we were informed that the car had already left for the airport without us!** There was no apology or explanation for this missed pick-up. Thankfully, another driver was present in the lobby and was able to arrange alternative transportation to ensure we reached the airport on time. This incident was a stressful and concerning experience. Overall, my stay at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel was a frustrating one. SSeh KiatVery good location next to the Beijing Lu Pedestrian Walk. In the older part of the city. The surrounding is very nostalgic yet very well kept by the city. My room is a river view high floor and it was exactly what I got. Full height window and a Tatami bed. It also came with a washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately the dryer had to be placed in the bathroom which made it a bit cramp. The room itself is well maintained and what I suspect to be toiletries left behind by previous occupants are displayed for subsequent travellers. I had great sleep, unfortunately I could not enjoy the great view because it was fogged out during my stay.. Overall, think Airbnb apartment. The building is quite aged, so the lifts are a bit slow in coming. Add to that, the entire building seems to be occupied by numerous similar operators. BTW Check In and service desk is in apartment 1813, at least for now.
