TTravellingWallyNo regrets paying more for this beautiful homestay! 花多点钱住这里一点遗憾也没有！ My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room. It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness. Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside. Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible. Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need. Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!! All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

GGuest UserI was very impressed by this hotel albeit just outside the main area of the town, a slow walk of 2 kilometres. The reception was very efficient in checking us in and allocate our room on the 10th floor. The room was large by the standards we were accustomed to in the West, whilst the bed was just right and very comfortable. The costs of our 2 night stay was incrediblely cheap with breakfast by any standard albeit Chaoyang isn't a 1st line city. The service we got was second to none, especially the night front desk lady - Suki Li and the day front desk young man - Alan Cheng. They bent over backward to help especially with my limited putonghua by conversing in Cantonese instead. They helped with taxi bookings when I could not because of I didn't have a local mobile number plus trying to use the automated vending machine which was QR coded as per norm in China. Breakfast was a mixture of oriental and western food. I was glad that the hotel has decent English breakfast tea unlike many others that we had stayed in, in additonal, the self service coffee machine can produce a decent coffee that satisfied the wife ( 2 shots of expresso plus 1 flat white or 1 Americano). The only complaint I have was that there is no milk power or fresh milk available in the room for making tea or coffee, it's one issue that the hotel management should consider in the near future. Overall, the hotel was cleaned and modern. I have no hesitation in recommend it.

AAnh-BaoThe grand hotel is located in the city of Chaoyang - a small industrial city - possibly best known for it’s production of undergarment. Chaoyang is approximately 39-45 minutes (by car) away from Shantou city center. The hotel has recently been elaborately renovated which explains why it - for the most part - looks like it was just recently built and opened. Older reviews are therefor inaccurate. I visited a friend in the city and during my stay I enjoyed the comfort of one of the hotel’s two-room business suites. Both rooms (living room and bed room) can be separated by a proper door. The bedroom has its own nice big bathroom with a toilet, huge shower and sink. In the hallway (before the living room) there is a restroom with its very own toilet and sink. This is very practical if you plan to receive guests in your business suite - because they won’t have to walk through your bedroom in order to use the toilet. I never had a business suite before but when I saw the price and the pictures I suspected it could be an amazing deal - and it absolutely was. I would love to stay at this hotel again. The hotel has a small restaurant that offers a good Chinese breakfast. A spa and karaoke-bar are located inside the hotel. In my business suite I I never noticed the bar. No noise. I was going to visit the the spa but it was closed due to renovation.

GGuest UserApart from being a bit expensive, there seems to be nothing to complain about. Friends who like literary B&Bs can go for it. The facilities are complete, and the front desk of the B&B has coffee beans grinders and microwave ovens. The room is large, the windows are large, the view is wide, there is a projection in the room, and the dry and wet separated sanitary shower room is convenient and hygienic. The housekeeper service is good, the contact is timely, and the problems are handled in time.

YYipLocation is near everywhere yet not near everywhere. It's in the middle of everywhere and is considered excellent location if you have access to DIDI transport. As a foreigner, such location would be a huge challenge if only relying on roadside hailing of taxi. The hotel main entrance is in the middle of both ”dropoff” points so either side, still have to walk a little. Not a big issue, unless it's summer which is exactly the season of this trip. even a 1min walk in 35degree is uncomfortable. Housekeeping is done daily, place is kept very clean, service is amazing, upon check-in, add the front office guy on your wechat and if you need anything or any information, it's just a text away. They don't provide proper towels tho, instead they give 4 one time use towel Room itself is very nice and interesting, it's a loft unit with high ceiling (I think it should be 6m height), so it's divided with a loft to form 2 ”rooms”. Decor nicely done with curtains for privacy for both rooms. Ample lighting, washing machines inside the unit itself, but dryer is only available at the office which means you have to lug your newly washed clothes down the elevator, hop on the opposite low rise lift and head over to the office to access the dryer Would I stay here again? I'll explore other hotels that is within walking distance to good food, but cleanliness is still my top priority and this hotel ticked that box

TTAN MELANIEi had a great hospitality with your hotel on 13-14 sept. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Early check in and we did requested late check out even in the peak season. Room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens felt high quality. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and eager to assist. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone made us feel welcome. This hotel truly knows how to combine luxury with comfort. Whether you're visiting for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, I highly recommend YIBISI. It offers the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and hospitality. We’re already planning our next visit!

XXue QiThe young girl with specs at the reception was friendly. She extended our checkout to 2pm. Overall this is a decent hotel that is near to many food options and spots we wanted to visit. Laundry room at level 6 is great for summer travel.

RRosianaThe hotel location is convenient for food, shopping and moving around. Plenty of parking spaces right in front of the entrance. It's also convenient for taxi to pick up and bus stop also 100m away. The front desk receptionist are all very well train, I specially like the service of 丹丹&小蔡 who check us in, they were very patient to their guests, always displaying a smiling face, and also have us very good advise on where to go around town, excellent attitude for service industry. Shantou is good for us food and we decided to extend another night stay at the property, there 小张&小林 the other 2 receptionists who are very pleasant to deal with. We are very happy to pick up this hotel:) By the way, the air conditioning in the room is powerful, perfect for this extremely hot weather. The housekeeping ladies were very efficient too. Thumbs up!

TTMK KurupThe hotel's location is perfect for us, close to the biggest market in Shantou, less than 100 meter away crossing the road. Easy and many choices of food and conveniences around. Hotel is small but win us over because of the location. There is no fridge in the room where we stayed, simple and basic room good enough for us.

AAnh-BaoThe hotel is conveniently located close to the old part of Shantou (10-15 minute walk) with plenty of shops, conveniently stores, pharmacies and restaurants within 5 minutes radius. You need to walk two minutes to get to the big gongyuen (park). The rooms with queensize beds are big enough. Public areas and rooms are kept fairly clean and bug free. I have seen a lot worse in other Shantou hotels. Bathrooms are OK. They are kept clean enough but will soon need a bit of renovation. By that I mean that some of the silicone along the glas walls and some of the edges along the tiled walls are a bit moldy. But again - Ive seen a lot worse in other Shantou hotels. Bathrooms are also a bit old and simple - as is true for many other Shantou hotels. By that I mean that you get a bathroom with door, sink, toilet and shower but the shower is NOT a separate space with its own shower pan and walls/doors. As a result most of the bathroom floor is wet once you have showered. The hotel has a nice and clean laundry room with two washing machines, a dryer and a sink. Laundry detergent is provided. I would rather have one washing machine and two dryers as I had to wait for the dryer on several occasions. Hotel has no restaurant so you cannot book breakfast. Friendly staff. Would I stay at this hotel again? Yes - if the price is right - which is basically a matter of timing. I stood in Shantou for a couple days - left - came back - left - came back. During this time the price for a room at this hotel heavily fluctuated (almost doubled). So - if the price is on the higher end of the spectrum I would rather pay a bit on top and get a „better“ hotel. If price is on the lower end of the spectrum I would happily book and stay at Binyue Hotel.
