Outstanding
GGuest UserThis is an outstanding hotel. It is located across the street from the train station, but is incredibly quiet. The place is immaculate and the interior design is very well done. The hotel was remodeled in 2021 and it looks brand new. Staff was very attentive and fluent in English. The room was decent sized for a European hotel. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel after checking out so we could tour Dresden before taking a train out of town. It's one of the nicer hotels we've stayed at in recent years

GGuest User10 minutes walk from Dresden Hauptbanhof and 15 minutes walk to Neumarktplatz. Big shopping mall next door and PragerStrasse has all kinds of shops and restaurants. All in all a great location. Our room was an unusual layout with a large foyer and even larger bedroom but with sp**** furniture. We liked it as we had plenty of room to spread out. All the staff we met were smiling and helpful.

GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel twice during the last month. The first time we had a little suite on the top floor of the Bastei. This was fine, if a little bare. Checkin and breakfast were fine. The second time we found ourselves in the annex, the Konigstein. Check in at the Bastei was poor with 20 minute queue. The annex had a fast food stall across the front and entry is by room card. The lift was dirty when we arrived and smelled of vaping and did not work properly. The impression is of an unmanned operation. The room was on the 6th floor and was noisy during the evening, from the very busy street below. At breakfast we were instructed to sit at a table already occupied by another guest and the staff member was aggressive with us saying the nicer tables were all for groups. No sign of these by the time we left of course. Also over-zealous table clearing, go to the buffet for more and your cutlery and coffee are gone. So better check in, maybe safes in the better rooms, and some serious staff training about customer service, rather than bullying.

Very well located and run, Must have been built 50/60 years ago and would have been a showpiece hotel in DDR times. So, steps in odd places and a retrofitted lift. Would be a bit awkward for a wheelchair. Now fully renovated to a determinedly 3-star standard, ie only one room chair and that upright, limited toiletries, austere art/free decor. But a spacious very clean room and bathroom, good breakfast. Curiously we were asked if we needed the room cleaned every day. Rather pricey- but this is central Dresden.

BBanyuexilouguSuper experience! Location, can’t be better, facing the church, get full vision of the street, particularly in the morning when the streets are still quiet and empty. All the highlights are all walking distance. Lots of options of restaurants in the area; Facility is clean and well maintained, and everything you need is can be found in the room. Suitable for family travel with children as well. We found it very comfortable in the room, and we slept very well. Once the window is closed, you won’t be bothered by the outside sound. The city is very nice, we are very glad that we spent one night here in such a great place.

MMichaela RegineWe were to the Luisenfest there and found it great . All clean in the room and very hygienic. Of course it is a house from 1884 which leads to that not all can be perfectly ( broken) renovated and to be. But it makes the special charm. Great people work there ! Breakfast is all there what does needs without overdrived unnecessary things and costs only € 8.50 . You can have inside or outside breakfast what I love especially. W LAN was Soso but there were also many people logged in. From the balcony I could view the party fully.

GGuest UserLocation is good. Facilities are a bit too old to be rightfully at the Hilton brand standard, but acceptable and understandable at this price level. On the services, there is substantial room for improvement. Staff are responsive but badly need to be trained with better protocols and practices.

GGuest UserWe were there from 08/19/2010 to 08/21/2020 and this great hotel was a pleasant surprise. This is a good location, right next to the doghouse, very friendly staff and convenient parking spaces. The furniture and first-class design of the room also convinced us so much that we visited other sights in the beautiful city of Dresden for three consecutive nights on August 24, 2020. We even like to come back from Lüneburg.

GGuest UserIt is far from the center. I was driving: I am not critical. There is no problem with parking: you can pay to park in the hotel, or you can park opposite or behind the hotel for free. The hotel itself is shabby. A little old The place is dirty: there is dust on the bedside table and the walls in the hallway are scarred. need to repair. I like the bathtub: a complete bathtub (not a shower), underfloor heating-good. There is a free bar in the room)))) I didn't bring breakfast, I can't appreciate it. The lobby bar is open until late and has a pool table. There is a small aquarium with cute reptiles in the lobby. For his worth of money-so beautiful! A little over thirty a night
