GGuest UserThere are more pros than cons, but there are cons. The hotel is composed of a number of independent houses, located on a public street, i.e., to go from one room to another or to the reception/restaurant, you have to go out to the street and go into another building. It is not cozy at all. The hotel is located at a stone's throw from the Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sofia Mosque, the Blue Mosque and the Water Cistern. You walk less than 3 minutes to get to any of them. On the other hand, amid Istanbul’s traffic, the worst I have ever seen in my life, the traffic near the hotel is the worst of the worst. Very easy to get to the places I mentioned, a nightmare to get in and out of an extremely bad location traffic wise to the generally very bad traffic elsewhere in town. Rooms are decorated in Turkish style, spacious and modern. All convenience you would expect from an hotel of this category are available. Were it not for the location, it would not have been the best choice in my opinion.
