We had a lovely stay at Ullaar over the extended Holi weekend. The cozy stay, delicious/homely food and view from our room was best in class but truly touching was witnessing the holi traditions and warm hospitality of Mr. Vicky and his mother. Looking forward to our next visit already...

Ullar denizens , host , caretaker , their lovely pets and the birds seem to envelop you in a warm embrace and make you feel at home . The natural stone and wood architecture , silence that a backdrop of bird chirping brings .. loved it and aching for more

Staying at Ullaar was memorable for me, with the most amazing views, comfortable and clean atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious home cooked food, cozy rooms, and the most humble and amazing owner, Vicky Rawat sir. Ullaar felt like home away from home! Srishti Ghorai

When I met the host Vicky, the first question I asked him was meaning of Ullaar. It meant “JOY”. Vicky hosted me and my friends for 4 days during during New Year’s long weekend. I have to give him a high-five for his hospitality and warmth. He welcomed us with so much compassion towards his work. His staff was so good. The food we had there was really delicious and was always served as per our convenience. Every evening we used to have a bonfire with really delicious barbeque served by his kitchen staff. The view from Ullaar is breath taking wether is sunrise or sunset. You can see the tip of Himalayan peaks so clearly. He has two mountain dogs Chanda and Suraj. They were so adorable and friendly. I must say Vicky is very passionate in what he is doing and promoting. Ullaar is having just 4 rooms, to which they take care of each and everything as per the guests requirement. It hygienic and sustainable. I highly recommend Ullaar Homestay in JaihariKhal to people who love enjoying their mountain vacation in peace and tranquality of nature. You will surely love the place. Kudos to Hayat, Kundan and the kicthen ladies for taking such good care of us during our stay.

It's actually a hidden gem . Stay was really comfortable and hospitality of staff were exceptional. Special shout out to owner Mr Rawat, who despite not being in property during my stay, called periodically to check on me and also suggest best places to explore in and around Lansdowne. Will definitely visit this place again with family and friends. Will also recommend it to others.

The homestay is premium in terms of the high quality of home cooked food, rooms, view from the property and room balcony and most importantly the hospitality of the owner vicky sir and thestaff Hayat bhaiya and others. 2. Yes you do get the view of the greater himalyas 3. If you love the feeling of woods, forest and peace then this place is for you. I have travelled wide and far but found this place to be one of the most peaceful places. Having said that it is good for those who wrestle touristy as well. The landsdowne town is just 10-15 mind drive from here and you can go to the market, church or boat in the lake there. 4. Have to mention, this place has an amazing architecture that you will definitely adore 5. And I would once again like to mention the home cooked food was super delicious and just perfect. 6. We visited in winter and we had bonfire organised by the staff on each night which was a great plus. Please do visit and enjoy the tranquility of the place! It is definitely worth it.

Very close to Delhi. Excellent location, staff courteous and beautiful views of Himalayas. Witnessed beautiful sunrise, night sky full of stars and chirping of birds. Lot of fresh air.A very nice stay. Enjoyed thoroughly..with friends.

Ullaar Homestay is very unique in their Hospitality and services. Owner himself take care of guests and ensure a good home cooked food with clean and hygienic stay. It was fun interacting with Vicky and other guest. Such homestays definitely make stories.
