Reviews of Parkside Hotel (Lanzhou Xiguan, Zhengning Road)

The room was too hot and stuffy. We had to sleep with the door and window open which wasn't great as people were walking past smoking.We did ask a staff member how we could modify the room temperature but she said it is fixed during this season. Breakfast was very good and the room and hotel was otherwise nice and comfortable.

Great location and very helpful staff, especially Ms. Ma at the front desk, who went of of her way to help us. The hotel is very quiet, and beds are clean and comfortable. Located close to the street market, with lot of restaurants and bars. Free washing machine

Very bad experience. While eating in the restaurant this morning, there was a huge puddle of water and oil mixture on the floor, and I almost slipped and fell. When I asked the waiter why he didn't place a sign to remind a guest even though he knew it, the waiter (picture 2) actually gave me a blank look. It wasn't until she saw me taking pictures that she asked my aunt to mop the floor and ran up to me to apologize. A few minutes later, a man in a white shirt came over and asked me if I had a conflict with their staff, as if it was my fault. How can this kind of service attitude be worthy of such an expensive house price?

This is a hotel for foodies. The breakfast provided is a local halal food in Lanzhou. I had milk fermented glutinous rice, grey beans, beef noodles, and fried dough sticks one by one. My stomach was full of carbohydrates. It was evening after this meal. The hand-pulled noodles and fried noodles I had in the hotel were delicious. It is a very good hotel. The staff are very kind, especially enthusiastic and smiling. The hotel is also very clean. I recommend it.

The environment is good, and there is a humidifier in the room, which is very thoughtful for our guests on business trips in the south. The restaurant downstairs is also very good. It would be even better if there was a KTV club. You can eat, drink and have fun all in one place at Platinum Garden.

The hotel is very cozy and American style. There is a multi-story parking lot in the courtyard. The service staff is very warm and enthusiastic. The breakfast is OK, both Chinese and Western halal are provided, and it is close to Zhengning Road Night Market.

The overall feeling is that it does not meet the standards of a star hotel. The front desk called me at 10 am and asked me what time I would arrive. I replied that it was 1.2 pm. Then... I arrived at 2:20 and was told that I could not check in because the room status had not changed on the computer, so I waited for an hour. I even asked once and kept asking for a room, and then there was no reply. Got it! After entering the room at 3:30, I asked the guest room for a duvet cover. It took another hour, but I called another person to urge me. Finally, after 4 o'clock, I came and said that they might be changing shifts and forgot to leave messages for each other. Finally, I sent it. I apologize with a fruit plate, but I only have one day in Lanzhou, and the activities arranged in the afternoon can only be compressed, which makes people feel bad. Since I don’t care about the guest’s reply, I don’t need to make this call before check-in. I better accept it.

I came here during the Spring Festival. The holiday atmosphere was strong. It was a comfortable stay. Parking was convenient. The parking staff were also very enthusiastic and responsible. It was a good choice. Children's toothbrushes and slippers were also given as gifts.

The hotel is very close to Zhengning Road Snack Street, a 10-minute walk away! It is also very convenient to go to Zhangye Road! Parking is convenient, and the security guard at the door is very enthusiastic! Very good experience!

Every time I come to Lanzhou, I always stay at Platinum Garden. It has a halal buffet breakfast, a rich breakfast, free parking spaces, the room is very hot, and it is very convenient to eat and travel. It is a very cost-effective hotel!

The environment is very warm, the hotel facilities are very new, and everything is very good. The breakfast in the morning has many kinds and is delicious. The hotel service staff are also very friendly and enthusiastic. It is really good value for money. 😉

The hotel does not turn on the central air conditioning in winter, which is completely unacceptable to me. As a premium hotel, I expected a warm and comfortable stay during the cold season. However, the hotel's decision made the room extremely cold and I had to wear heavy clothing and use extra blankets to barely stay warm.
