"The room was clean, and the hot water for the shower was electrically heated. It offered great value for money. The front desk staff was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The surrounding area is pleasant, and with a bank right next door, it felt very safe to stay here. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this hotel."

"I fell ill while out and about and had to stay in my room for about five days. The room was clean and the food was good. However, I felt the air conditioning was a little dusty. Next time, I'd like to stay here in comfort. I've never stayed at the nearby star hotel, but I would recommend it for the same price. It might also be good for sinking!"

"The hotel was really good value for money! Clean, comfortable, and easy. We stayed here before crossing the chinese-vietnamese border to Hekou, which was only a 15 minute walk to get to from the hotel. There is not much nearby of interest but since we stayed here just before crossing the border it did not really matter. There is also a really nice view of China from the room!"

"Checking in process was a hassle, as I booked VIP room, but it registered as a suite. However, staff had good problem solving skills, and one guy offered tea for the trouble. Staff are attentive. Room (suite) is spacious enough for a 4 star. Good selection of drinks provided in the room. One toothpaste was dried out, though. Furniture was old fashioned. Bed was average, pillows not very comfortable. Location was great for entertainment, restaurants, and more. Unfortunately, the suite had poor soundproof design. Hens woke us up at 3am. Could hear pretty much the slightest of noise outside. Overall, decent for the location. Major issue is the soundproof design. Not for light sleepers."
