The hotel is very good, just opened very new. It also has the taste of decoration. Breakfast is good compared to hotels of the same grade in the United States, with hot dishes. I like this city a lot and have stayed several times. The scenery is good.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel is very close to Highway 40 in the city, it is very convenient to get on and off the highway, and it is easy to get to the Grand Canyon. The hotel is a decent American Express hotel, and breakfast is similar to other American Express hotels. I drove all the way from New York and found that in fact, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Four Points Four Points, Home2 by Hilton and other quick hotels, from room configuration to breakfast, are almost the same, sometimes I ca n’t really tell where I live. This motel-style lodge is ideally located in the southwest area of the Grand Canyon Village, just a short walk from the canyon. Nestled within several acres of Ponderosa pine forest it welcomes all outdoor types. The original establishment dates back to the 1927 and was constructed by Fred Harvey Company and the Santa Fe Railroad, when travelling by automobile to the parks was quickly becoming fashionable. The only architectural component remaining from historic lodge buildings are the original stone pillar, everything else has been rebuild. The rooms feature either 2 large queen-size beds or a single king-size one and guests can request a roll-away beds if needed. For dining there is a food court from where one can grab a sandwich or other types of ready-made food and a sports bar with a wide screen TV, where to catch a game and chill with a beer.

It was a decent room for a motel. Novel and cool and all the things you need in the room. Good firm beds & Lots of blankets too with a 2 blankets on each bed even. Lots of space & a lil mini kitchen. The Only issue was no parking in front of our room but that’s due to other people bringing multiple vehicles I think. And a grab to go breakfast was pretty junky-2 cupcake like mini muffins/juice box and granola bar. Not very healthy. But overall a good stay.

The hotel was nice, room was nice. Coffee maker was dirty, but the room was overall ok. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The fitness center was Not to our liking tho. No ac and felt like a sauna. Only has a treadmill and a bike. The Continental breakfast , I’m sorry was horrible. It was a decent stay but would probably not be my first choice to stay again.
