The Cromwell Hotel & Casino

Not a wonderful experience. Hotel is run down and not clean. **** stains remains in toilet bowl and no house cleaning services, no water and there is a restriction of only 2 device for internet access ! Totally outdated with modern times and hotel seems not willing to invest to keep up with modern expectations.

The service was absolutely horrible. The rooms were cold which is great as its hot outside but I asked for extra blankets and they said they had NONE. The hotel charges a resort fee but for WHAT???????? Is what I wanna know. Thye have only 1 pool amd guest don't get priority and then only 1 restaurant in the hotel as well. Where's the AMENITIES??? Where's the resort fee going too??? Plus the room upon entry had trash in the garage bin amd I was charged for a ***** VIEW mind you this hotel DOESNT HAVE A ***** VIEW. Oh they mean a side walk view of Ballys that slightly over looks the Bellagio Fountains...THAT VIEW????? OH ok. Need a cab/Uber, you have to walk over through the garage area in the back to the Flamingo Hotel to catch one. ***????

The location couldn't be better. Minutes from the fountains and the heart of the *****. The room decor is aged but perfectly Vegas Chic! In-room amenities are poor. Even coffee will cost you $20! Beware the see-through mirror in the shower; great for intimate couples, less good for family!

We were originally given a different room than what we paid for with no ***** view. The room was dirty and dusty not to mention they did not change the sheets when we arrived because the pillow cases smelled like cheap mens cologne. The sheets had fresh blood stains on them. I had to tell house keeping to change them.

I’ve visited Vegas about twice a year for the past decade and I generally stay at different hotels to diversify my travel experience. By far, this was my worst hotel experience in Vegas. The room itself was clearly well traveled, run down and desperately in need of an update. You pay a “resort fee” of over $50/day, which is supposed to include such amenities as unlimited local calls, which, in the age of cell phones is not much of a benefit; however, it came into play here because we attempted to call down to the front desk to report an issue with the television and couldn’t because the phone didn’t work. Moreover, the issue was that we couldn’t cast to the television from our phone and after having a technician come up to our room and subsequently being put through on a call with the company that provides the internet service, it was discovered that our internet was not working. This problem was reported on a Tuesday and by out checkout on Friday, it had still not been fixed. Then add to that that you must go next door to the Flamingo for ride share, then what exactly are you getting for this $50/day resort fee? On a positive note, however, our room did afford us a view of the fountains of the Bellagio. The only recommendation that I can provide for the Cromwell is based on its location center ***** and the ease of getting in and out of it, ideally out.

Rooms are the best on the *****, however, you won’t get much sleep due to the extremely heavy doors that slam starting at 5am due to housekeeping. You’d think a billion dollar boutique hotel could figure this out….

Online check-in was offered but not available at this property so waited over 30 min to check in. Positives: great shower and white noise generator. Negatives: room was dark with not near enough light. Had to use the light on my cell phone to set the thermostat. Only room with enough light was the bathroom. Decor was stark and not elegant. Nothing on the main floor but ******s. No decor except castle dungeon themes. Limited diner options. Mostly went to other properties to dine.
