MGM Grand Hotel and Casino

Excellent location, right on the main thoroughfare of Shin Kong Avenue, surrounded by numerous shops. The playground downstairs is a convenient bonus. However, you do have to queue during check-in, which is something that could be improved.

The environment is great, and it's convenient for getting around. The hotel is quiet, and the views are lovely. Service is decent. It's very convenient for business trips, and not too far from the airport. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The entertainment facilities inside are good too.

The studio room was clean and comfortable. It wasn't huge, but had pretty much everything you'd need. The bathroom was compact but very functional. I liked the private corridor entrance on the first floor; it felt comfortable and secure, and you needed a card to access the corridors and elevators. The Chinese noodle restaurant inside the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced. Lunch was a little over $18, with several options. I tried the beef noodles and stir-fried rice noodles, both were delicious and very generous portions. I highly recommend the handmade pizza near the Uber pickup point. There are plenty of shops around the hotel, including a Coca-Cola store and an M&M's store. The only downside was that the hotel's entertainment area was freezing; the AC was on full blast. I'd suggest bringing a warm jacket if you plan to go there.

We were assigned a room with a view of the Sphere, which my kids absolutely loved! It was clean and odor-free, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. A special note: do NOT touch anything in the minibar. It's not about whether you eat it or not, but if you pick something up for over 60 seconds, even if you put it back, you'll be charged. The minibar prices are extremely expensive!

Facilities: Recently renovated, very new and fresh. Hygiene: Extremely clean, tidy, and comfortable. Environment: Very grand and upscale. Service: Courteous, polite, meticulous, and thoughtful. Location: Excellent and prime. Parking fee: $20/night.

Much better than the one in Paris, mainly because it's newer. The signage is very clear, making it easy to find everything. It's also very close to the airport, and taxis are plentiful, so it's easy to get one.
