A very nice place to stay. The host is very friendly and helpful. The rooms a nice and quite. The breakfast is good. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for two nights as it is a perfect place for visiting Golden Cirkle and also go to Secret Lagoon and enjoy one of the hot water. We also went snorkeling at Thingvellir.

Had a great stay. The room was comfortable, and the owner clearly cared about giving his guests a wonderful experience. The best part was the breakfast. I highly recommend you take the owners food suggestions (Icelandic sour mike and brown sugar was delicious). The only downside was the shared bathroom, we had someone in there for a long time (not the guests house fault).

Room #8 is the smallest room we stayed in and not much room for luggage for 2 ppl. It's also next to the front door and ppl walking back and forth until midnight. Breakfast is good and the owner is friendly. I would recommend staying in one of the other rooms for more space and quiet.

Lovely friendly b&b with a charming host. Very comfortable night and perfect little en suite. Good typical breakfast selection and useful to be able to use the kitchen for a quick dinner in the evening.

When we arrived we got a very pleasant tour of the guesthouse with the owner, including our room. The owner explained where to view the northern lights (of they would come.. they did!). In the morning the owner explained what a typical icelandish breakfast would be and it was truthfully delicious. If i would go back to iceland in that region, we would defenitly go back to this guesthouse!

Stayed here for one night on our tour of Iceland. A simple and unpretentious guesthouse that is off the beaten track. It was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. We would recommend and would stay again

The location was excellent for touring the Golden Circle outside of Reykjavik, Iceland. The owner was very gracious ready to answer any questions then showing us to our very clean, spacious, comfortable temperature wise room. The shared bathroom also was very spacious and clean. The surroundings were very quiet giving us a nice, restful sleep. Breakfast was typical European with cheeses, sliced meats, hard boiled egs, cereals, breads, etc. juices and coffee. All excellent.

This guesthouse is amazing. Haraldur the host is super friendly, very helpful, and a fun guy. As guest, you always feel very welcome. The room was very clean. We stayed for 9 nights, as the guesthouse is nicely located to do day trips to see many different attractions. I would definitely come back!

Couldn’t really fault this place. It has a great atmosphere, it’s clean,The Wi-fi works and the showers fabulous The communal lounge/ kitchen we found to be a great social space although I suppose it would depend on your fellow guests but we had a fun couple of evenings. There’s enough space to tuck yourself away if you don’t want to join the conviviality though and a separate lounge area up stairs. Haraldur is a good host, informative and helpful but unobtrusive It would be my first pick if coming back to Iceland.
