Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alabaster

Very pleasant and quiet. Better than average breakfast. Loved the chaise lounge in our room. Good TV choices. Will stay here again.

I’ve traveled extensively for business over 18 years. This is the most comfortable bed, hotel room and bathroom I have ever had. The bed is super soft and room is spatious with ambient lighting. I felt like I was in a spa. Shower was big and had ledges to use as needed. Room was very clean. I hope it never changes as this will be my choice whenever I visit.

The staff were GREAT! Helpful, willing to take time to see to all our needs. We have stayed often and will continue to give this hotel chain our first consideration when traveling. Personally, in our book you are the best! Can't sing their praises high enough. Look forward to returning and will definitely stay here when visiting. A PLUS, PLUS FROM US. The Morgan Family.

The room was clean enougch, at least the most important things--the bed and the bathroom. The part where there is tile flooring is cleaned with something that leaves ibehind a slippery film and when you step on it leaves black marks on the floor, so it did not make me feel okay being barefoot. The carpet on the hallway is desprately old and needs to be replaced. The elevator was not very clean either. The breakfast was very complete and coffee was good

After paying almost $300 for a room, I was disappointed in this property. The tile floor was sticky and dirty, the remote for the tv didn’t work, one of the lights in the room had to be plugged in for it to work even though there were two switches to turn it on and off, no shower curtain, no hair dryer, water fountain and bottle fill up in the hallway didn’t work, toaster in bfreakfast area was probably older than the hotel and only one half of one side worked. If it were one issue, I could understand, and I am probably forgetting something. The hotel staff were five star and did their best to fix and assist with the issues. But again, the room was almost $300 for a regular room, and my expectations for this price are to not have any issues. The area is great with plenty of dining options.

The stay at the hotel has been very good it was clean and there were towels and the air conditioning was cold. So I definitely recommend this Holiday Inn. Olive Garden was just down the road and so was Longhorns

It’s unfortunate that I need to give this review but due to the room condition and lack of communication from the manager I will. The room I was given smelled of mildew and something else I couldn’t put my finger on. Being exhausted I figured it was coming from outside through the AC unit. Went to bed and woke up with a sore throat and headache. Finally at 3am I decided to pack up and leave since I had a long drive. I asked the front desk if there was a way to get reimbursed for the room since obviously there was a humidity problem and potential mold issue. I also shared that I discovered what the other smell was…two dirty diapers in the garbage under the desk. She shared that because I used ******* I probably wouldn’t get a refund, being an outside booking site. She said she would need the manager to follow up. The manager was supposed to be in at 8am and she would give my name and number to be contacted. Now more than 48 hours out and still not contacted, I assume they plan to do nothing about it. Fair enough. At least I got a few hours rest, but in the future, if I need a room in Alabaster, I think I’ll try the hotel next door.

This hotel is tucked away in a quiet area yet is close to lots of places to eat and shop. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast and coffee were really good. Our bathroom needed a little TLC. The wall paper was coming off the wall by the toilet but other than that it was a great stay.

It ******, I’m 73 years old and the elevator was broken so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. The toilet seat was small and didn’t fit the seat. The ice machine was broken. The mirror lights didn’t work, so it was darker in the bathroom also .So staying at a holiday inn was ( the best surprise is no surprise ) well we were surprised that all the things didn’t work.
