Swiss Chocolate by Fassbind Lausanne

It is a very comfortable hotel and everything in the room is related to chocolate!!! so cuteeeeee. But cleanliness could be better as we found leftover food underneath a cupboard. Other than that, all’s good. It is very convenient too as it is just a short walk to the metro. Thanks to Swiss Chocolate hotel, it made our stay in Lausanne so peaceful and easy. 🫰🏽

The customer service is great, the chocolate fondue at reception is a nice touch, the room is clean and modern. The location is close to 2 metro stations. Do note that even though it’s not a long walk from main train station, but it’s an uphill one. Highly recommend to take metro from main train station to the hotel. At the time of our stay, the lift wasn’t working. The sound proofing isn’t good, especially when young crowds came back past midnight, making noise and slamming their doors.

This hotel was wonderful. Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful, clean rooms. Perfect location to walk to all of the tourist sights and the lake. They give a Free transit pass which was a lovely and useful surprise. And...they have a chocolate fountain in the lobby!!! Such a treat! I will recommend this location for sure!

Our AC didn’t work very well in our room. We told the desk, but they weren’t able to fix it. Too bad because it was 90 plus degrees when we stayed.

Good location near a Metro station north of the train station. Area full of dining options, small shops and cafes.  Great service. I was surprised there was not a small chocolate in the room, having this thematic moto. Bit I discovered a chocolate fountain at reception today, that’s a good touch.

Perfect stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very delicious with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better.

My two companions and I had a fantastic three-night stay. The hotel is modern and spotless, with all the facilities and furniture feeling very new. We were particularly impressed with the complimentary transportation card, which was incredibly convenient for getting around. Be sure to ask about it at the front desk when you arrive! The service was impeccable. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us great advice on local transport, helping us avoid unnecessary costs. Although we couldn't modify our booking to change the last night to a double room due to platform restrictions, the hotel replied to our email quickly and professionally. A wonderful touch was the chocolate fountain in the lobby, it was a delightful treat that put us in a great mood every day. We highly recommend this hotel, they also have very nice gym (see the photo below).
