The hotel is very beautiful, a pleasant room, well located in the tops of Lausanne, the metro is quick to the city centre and the lake. A very nice staff, a very clean fitness, a small sauna and a Hamamatsu unfortunately much too hot, impossible to stand up???? A small setting is required😉a good experience, I'll return there.

A perfectly fine hotel with a hotel staff that spoke English well. We had a good stay and for the price it was amazing with the metro really close. The stay even included a public travel pass for going to and from the downtown city. The hotel is a bit special in that it actually is a patient hotel with people staying with newborns and people being in the hospital. So we were s bit in doubt of how that worked and if we even welcome. But we stayed there for 2 nights and had a great time the vibe is just a bit odd and we felt out of place. The breakfast included gluten-free options and was great. The hotel has a fine restaurant that was adequate and at a good price. The restaurant staff didn't speak much English so with a bit of help and Google translate it went fine and with a little knowledge of French it will go fine. Was a bit weird that even when they knew we mostly spoke English and German then those waiters didn't serve us but only the once that knew other languages. We had an amazing stay in Lausanne but felt a bit out of place.

We would like to thank the wonderful staffs for their excellent service. The guy in charge of the hotel at the day of our arrival allowed us to use their washer and dryer in the basement with a very reasonable fee, and helped us to operate the machines even after his shift was ended. At the day of our departure, breakfast was not supposed to be served until 8 am (it was a weekend), and it may be too late for us to catch the train at 8:25. We asked if they could allow us to have the breakfast 15 min earlier. They told us that they would try their best but would not guarantee that. We were pleasantly surprised that the young lady in charge of the breakfast on that day did have everything ready by 7:45 am, and the breakfast was really delicious. In contrast to the excellent service, the condition of our room could be improved. We lived in a room with a private bathroom, and had to take showers in standing water as the water did not drain quickly enough in the shower unit. The entire room also was not adequately lighted in the evening.

Exactly what we needed. Comfortable room and bedding, very large shower tub. The Breakfast was nice, with attention to avoid disposable material, fresh yoghurts, two coffee machines. The free Lausanne pass allowing free public transportation (and other advantages) was appreciated.

Very good location with metro next door. The room, while quirky, was claustrophobic as you couldn't swing a cat in it. Thankfully, we didn't come to Lausanne to spend our time in a hotel room! Check-in and check-out staff were very friendly as was the chap from Andalusia on the rooftop bar. We didn't bother with the 15 euro per person breakfast and got coffee/pastries from the nearby Migros for a fraction of the price. Appeals much more to a younger crowd (my wife and I are in our 40s but are still young at heart). All told, not bad value for money but I would probably stay in a more traditional establishment next time.

This is such a nice luxurious hotel, and our family has been enjoying staying in it on multiple occasions since 2016. Everything is impeccable: room decor, luxury toiletries, comfortable and quiet rooms, daily housekeeping, and excellent service from all staff members. The hotel is located right by the metro stop, which makes it very convenient, and only 10 minutes walk from the lake. We stayed in the executive room which is spacious, has plenty of storage, nice modern bathroom, a balcony, mini fridge, desk, large TV,  safe, and an armchair with a coffee table - everything we needed during our 3-week stay. I can't speak of the hotel high enough and would happily recommend it to anyone. Thank you, team Carlton.
