The location of the hotel is good. Although it doesn't have its own beach, there is a small free public bath across the road with showers. There is a paid bath next to it, renting two chairs and an umbrella, 70 euros a day😱 is too exaggerated, we bought a parasol and a mat for only 35 euros and camped in the public bath. The beach conditions in the nearby town are better, and the price is only 45 Euros a day. Booked a sea view room with a nice view from the large balconies on both sides. The bar on the roof has a good view, 15 euros for a glass of cocktail, but there are free snacks, which is not bad👌

Breakfast is very good, the bathroom is very clean, the room decoration is very new, the surrounding wind is very beautiful, walking a few hundred meters from the beach, no extra bed, very suitable for children around the play

Excellent Hotel! Amazing for the price. Location is perfect! 5 minute walk to the station, easy access to Cinque Terre. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable beds. Breakfast was the best free breakfast we had had on the trip! The staff were incredibly helpful, our car battery was dead and they luckily had jump cables and helped us get going again. Highly highly recommend this hotel!

Breakfast was a lavish spread of freshly baked pastries, local cheeses, and various fruits and cereals, providing the perfect start to my day. I took advantage of the hotel's beautiful outdoor pool area. The pool area featured comfortable loungers, allowing for relaxing and soaking up the Mediterranean sun. The true highlight of my stay, however, was the exceptional service provided by the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi staff. They were always friendly, courteous, and eager to assist, making me feel at home. Their professionalism and attention to detail were commendable and contributed significantly to my overall experience. My stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations. We had another great stay at the Mediterraneo this summer, probably the 4th time we are going back. As always service and friendliness of staff and management exceeded our expectations, a very warm welcome and eagerness to accommodate our needs. Great surprise for the newly refurbished room we stayed in and the swimming pool area, it was more that comfortable and relaxing stay. Breakfast room with stunning views, the offering could use a bit of an upgrade though. Ideal stay, to explore the surrounding area of Sestri, Cavi and Lavagna, or even head out to Cinque Terre if you rent a car - as the car park is massive and offered for free. What a great place and great value for money, we will definitely go back soon!

Very beautiful sea view hotel, very new facilities, comfortable bed, good internet speed, bars, restaurants and swimming pool, convenient transportation, many restaurants around, beach outside the hotel, walking distance to yacht dock and shops. There is parking in the hotel, but it costs 20 euros a day.
