Auberge Saint Pierre

The atmosphere was very homey and relaxing. I loved the view from the back entrance. I appreciate the wonderful service from the staff. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious.

The hotel front desk staff were very kind, guiding us to our room and explaining where to insert our card key and the door leading to the outside corridor. The special feeling that came from there was wonderful. The restaurant was on the first floor of the hotel, and it was nice to be able to eat there in the evening, as there weren't many restaurants open at night. The hotel was also easy to find.

Very comfortable, clean hotel, with kind and helpful staff, duplex rooms on two floors for families, views of the sea or the cathedral, direct access to the bastions via a characteristic and adorable little bridge.

This time, we chose to stay at the Auberge Saint Pierre. It's easy to find. Enter Mont Saint-Michel, follow the main road through the city gate, and walk three or four blocks. The window overlooks the extensive mountain roads. The room was spacious and bright, but the bathroom had separate hot water pipes for washing hands and showering. The hot water in the shower was ice-cold after running for more than 10 minutes, while the hot water for washing hands came out in seconds, leaving us with no choice but to wash our hair with hot water in the sink. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was always full upon arrival, but the fish and lamb chops we ordered weren't as tasty as the waiter recommended, and we had a stomach ache afterwards. It's not recommended for dining there.

The hotel is located on the right, about 1-2 minutes after passing through the main gate. The location is excellent; by chance, I could see the statue of St. Michael on the tower and hear the bells ringing from my room window. The sounds of seabirds, the bells, and the waves were all incredibly soothing. There is a kettle, water, a refrigerator, and a safety deposit box. The stairs might be difficult if you have a suitcase. The staff were friendly and accommodating; thank you very much.

Beautiful hotel. The staff are very pleasant, whether at reception, the bar, or the restaurant. I highly recommend it. The rear access to the ramparts is a great bonus.
