Nice hotel but don bring too big luggage, pack light

The reception and my hotel room were like 200 M away from each other. In the afternoon, the path is crowded by tourists visiting the Mont-St-Michel Abbey, which makes your walk to your room not so easy. However, since your hotel is on the island, you can enjoy the walk through Mont-St-Michel in the night or early morning, when there are almost no tourists.

It's no surprise you have to climb the narrow, stepped streets with your suitcase... But it's quite charming nonetheless once you arrive... (The photo shows the view from the small window of the room...)

The hotel is located right within Mont Saint-Michel. It's a great place to wander the empty streets late at night. The breakfast is good. Checking in was a bit tricky, as I had trouble finding the reception, which is located in a completely different location. I had to call and confirm. The room was ready about 15 minutes later than the official check-in time of 4:00 PM. The staff was friendly. The room was basic, with all the necessary toiletries, including tea and coffee. The windows were a bit dirty. The bed was a little uneven. But overall, considering the location and the limited number of hotels, it was tolerable.

Perfect location and breakfast

The location is great in Mont Saint-Michel. The room is fine for two people. Breakfast was included and the taste and quantity were very satisfying.

Very good room, with window to the bay. Clean and cosy. Breakfast quite good and rich in varieties for all types of tastes. No elevator, but it is an old building it is understood. The only uncomfortable thing is the reception in another hotel
