Hilton Garden Inn Edmonton International Airport

This is a great place to stay and leave your vehicle if you’re travelling by air anywhere. I would highly recommend this place as they are very helpful and the place is clean.

Enjoyed our stay

We were given a room that had been marked as clean, but when we opened the door, the room had not been cleaned after a previous guest had left. We immediately went back to the front desk, and the staff promptly apologized and gave us another room. Overall, the staff was good, and the hotel was tidy. There was no breakfast included in my stay, and parking was available for free.

The hotel staff were friendly and it was clean. It could use some updates as the pictures didn’t really look like the room. Although the description has a shuttle service , if you don’t book it ahead, you have to wait an hour. This could be communicated at check in as we had to pay for a taxi to the airport.

This is the poor hilton we’ve been. It needs renovation, carpets and the lobby are filthy, the toiletries is not updated, and they will not refill even we asked for clean up, we stayed for 4 days and the house keeper will not change the towel if not requested even its on the floor🙄

The pool had been shut down by Alberta Health Services over two months before our staff. Having a pool is one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. Even on check in no one mentioned it you had to go to the pool to see the closure notice from the health department. The room was clean enough i guess but it something in it triggered an allergic reaction that 8 hours after leaving I am still almost useless. The ceiling in window area of the room was cut open and just hanging down The staff was friendly enough when you could find them. The front desk was mostly unoccupied with no ring bell for service and the restaurant bar looked closed. One of the other customers found the front desk staff chatting it up with the bar staff in the kitchen area out of sight. There are plenty of other options around the area for less 25+% less. 100% not going to book here again

Cleanliness: The room was dusty, and it was clear that the housekeeping staff did not meet the standards I would expect from a Hilton property. The shower had a significant buildup of grime on the bottom, to the point that parts of it appeared black. When we arrived, the toilet seat was left up, which gave the impression that the bathroom had not been properly checked before our check-in. This is not something I would expect at any hotel. The air conditioning only worked when set to a very low temperature and would not properly regulate to the temperature selected. The in-room information stated that housekeeping would service the room every second day, but this did not happen during our stay. Our garbage was not emptied, and dirty towels were not replaced. Overall, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness, maintenance, and housekeeping service at this hotel. Staff: The staff we encountered throughout our stay were excellent. From check-in to check-out, everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful. Their positive attitude and customer service were appreciated and were one of the highlights of our experience.

Very disappointed that the pool was under renovation. If we knew that, we will not stay at the hotel. Overall, the staff good service made up for the pool closures.

I usually love the Hilton Brand and this hotel, but it seems to be lagging recently. The first room I got wasn't finished being cleaned. The bed was unmade. The second didn't have a TV remote which took multiple calls and a 45+ wait. The shower had what looked like mold in the corners.
