A difficult review to write. Firstly this was a park and fly booking for 7 days parking and 1 night stay. The overnight stay was very good with comfortable well appointed rooms and dinner which was very good value. Taxi service to and from the airport was timely and well organised. On return to the car park our car had been hit by another vehicle causing over £400 of damage to the bumper. I reported the incident at reception and the young lady just looked at me with a blank expression. The duty manager to be fair looked at the damage and said she would arrange for someone to phone me. No phone call received. When I phoned up again the person I spoke to implied they couldn't look through cctv footage to help ne as too time consuming but said someone would call back. Again no call back. Eventually when we phoned again the Manager asked us to send photos etc to assist in looking at correct cctv camera. Several days later an email was received saying that the cctv camera couldn't clearly make out where car was parked. What is the point in having the camera.? The car was right in the centre of a well lit section of the car park! At no point did any member of staff say they were sorry about the damage to the car. Hence the review. Finally to the charmless individual who hit my car just remember what goes around comes around.

After reading the previous reviews, I got my back up slightly before arriving but can honestly say, I have had nothing but a brilliant, positive experience throughout my stay. I came here for 5 nights on an SIA course and can honestly say, from the front desk to the cleaning lady (who by the way is absolutely brilliant and I hope she truly gets acknowledged for the work she does as she is single handedly everywhere in that hotel and still found time to assist me). The older gentleman on the evenings behind the desk also was brilliant and I can honestly say, I had a brilliant stay. Don’t judge a place from what you read. Thank you

The food was rubbish. Staff rude. Complained about people vaping I was told they were allowed to do so. Stay away from this hotel. Unless you just want to drink smoke and order a takeaway pizza. Room service only if you request it. But can’t find staff to do so

Extremely poor service. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The hotel is cheap and depressing with really bad service including rude staff menbers including a waiter that refused to serve us food. The place didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly.

Not sure where to start. Back in September 2021 I booked a room for the SlamDunk Festival in June 2022. The room was £45 and having stayed here before I knew the location was close to the venue, albeit the hotel itself was dated & not the best. A few weeks ago they contacted me to say that the room was 'no longer available', despite the fact I booked it 7 months ago. They offered to move me to another hotel 45 minutes away on the other side of Leeds! I asked why the room was no longer available and they told me they were closed that day. I have since discovered that this is NOT the case. I asked someone to come back to me with a better solution. A month has gone by and I've heard nothing. I have since sent an email explaining my concerns and asking for a response, it's been nearly two weeks and I've heard nothing. I've messaged them again and nothing. My booking is a month away and I have no idea whether my booking stands. This trip was primarily for my 7 year old daughter who was looking forward to her first festival experience seeing her favorite band! Not going would have been heartbreaking for her, fortunately I've booked another hotel as a reserve, but at a FAR higher cost. I've done some research and what's concerning is the fact that this seems to have happened to a number of people. What's more concerning is that this seems to happen to people every year this festival is on, irrespective of the date. It's clear what is happening here. They are telling people who booked early for a cheap price that the room is no longer available so they can resell at a higher price due to supply and demand. It's utterly DISGUSTING! What's worse is the fact that I have raised my concerns direct to Britannia Hotels and no one has bothered to come back to me. With regards to the hotel and service, all I can say is that it's extremely dated and the service is poor (It took nearly an hour to check in last time I stayed here). I knew full well this was the case when I booked it but for the price it was worth it as it's close to the venue and easy to get to from the motorway. Something needs to be done but I suspect I won't hear from anyone from Britannia Hotels between now and June. I will be pursuing a complaint and I will be speaking with Citezens Advice because the behavior of the people running this hotel is nothing short of appalling.

Had 3 rooms booked for slam dunk festival in September 2021. I had booked the rooms 6 months before. A month before we were meant to be there they cancelled the hotel which meant we had to hurry to find somewhere else to stay and ended up paying much more money and one of our party ended up having to stay somewhere apart from us as there were not enough rooms. IT HAPPENED AGAIN. Had a hotel booked since September 2021 for slam dunk festival in June 2022. It gets to March, 6 months after booking again and they decide to cancel the booking. The offer me the sister hotel nowhere near where I need to be. I accept and ask if I can have booking confirmation because I didn’t want to show up to the sister hotel and be turned away and I have been ignored each time I’ve contacted them which isn’t good enough. Cancelling my hotel twice. And now not even replying to me. I’ll never book this hotel ever again. I’d already heard bad things about them and now I know why. Absolute shambles of a hotel and after reading all the other low reviews I’m glad I’m not staying there.

There was hardly any food options the bacon tasted like cardboard and there wasn’t no salt or anything, there was no good food or drinks and there where shït stains In the toilet and smelled like bowl cancer

We were quite concerned with the attitude this hotel takes towards their paying customers. After having this room booked months in advance we were contacted to be told we would have to be put up in a sister hotel on the other side of town due to "a governmental visit". I don't see why we had to move hotel and these people couldn't stay in the sister hotel, which wasn't on the other side of town at all but by Bradford Airport which is completely impractical. The only compensation we were given was a free breakfast which might as well just be a kick in the teeth. I'd rather pay more than necessary in a hotel that would guarantee me a room than somewhere that would move their customers over 10 miles just to keep up appearances.

Very nice clean hotel staff was friendly can't remember the lady at the front desk name but she was amazing shame at time of stay no food was being served so had to keep going tesco but finding out other hotels were serving food but I definitely will stay again
