I feel bad knocking the hotel. It's in a great location with parking for just £8 a night next door. Ideal for the Armories (free entrance) and a surprisingly cheap £1 river taxi to the city centre. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, in fact the Indian gentleman on check in was probably the best check in experience I've ever had. All the other staff were pleasant. The room was big and comfortable. Now the gripe. Breakfast was an absolute nightmare. The queues were mainly caused however because there was only one toaster and this was set in a way that people had to put their bread in twice to get it toasted. Then there was the wait for bacon and sausages to be refilled ( not a short wait, a good 10 minutes). We recently stayed at a sister hotel in Crewe and their toaster was of a different model that was an industrial 4 slice one making 4 slices very quickly. Mind you they also had cheese on offer which would have also got people away from the queues. Even a few bread rolls which wouldn't need toasting would also alleviate queues to some extent. The last problem was a lack of plates. Would we stay again, yes. Though we would make sure we didn't wait until 8.30am to get breakfast

The hotel was great and well located to get into the centre of Leeds. Nice views on the canal from the room, the room was spacious with good amenities. We got given breakfast with our booking which was lovely. We also got a free late checkout too.

I have stayed at the hotel so long it's clear that it feels like home and I can honestly they they don't go less than above and beyond to help you feel at ease and at home I have not one complaint to make other than, can't you just let me live there guys xx 🥰 Helen on the desk is one of the loveliest people you'll probably encounter and if there's an issue they try their best to deal with it in a favourable manner so that you don't feel awkward or embarrassed, well once they know you better, you'll have to remember how many people they all deal with minute by minute and they aren't all reasonable, understanding or rationale but they all seem to keep their cool and keep a light humour to the situation which is lovely xx

The staff here were great at all times during my stay. My room was on the 10th floor. It was clean and comfortable, and everything (air conditioning; hair dryer; iron; TV; kettle; shower) worked. The bathroom had been renovated in recent years, and was in good condition. The room was quiet – it looked out over the canal – and the air conditioning when set on ‘low fan’ was quiet. Breakfast was distinctly ordinary. The car park had possibly been designed by a sadist. The spaces are small, and the ramps have the very tightest turns imaginable. It’s true that there are warnings as you enter the car park – but if there were such an award I’d vote for it being the worst car park in the UK. Shocking! Still, I’m relatively ‘loyal’ to the Hilton brand and the staff are great, so will probably stay here again. (I’ll use the car park up the road next time – or take the train.)

Excellent hotel, very spacious and clean room with a superb bathroom. All you could want was in the room. Breakfast was continental only - although *********** said Full English but saying that there was plenty to eat and a very busy morning for the staff. The young lady inn charge was excellent and made sure all needs were met. A real well run hotel. Thank you

Got a Groupon deal at only £79 for a double en-suite with breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco. The reception staff were very helpful and even got a free upgrade with a nicer room including soft drinks and 2 Kit Kats with great views overlooking the canal and late check out too. We parked nearby at Leeds dock about 10 minutes walk away as we have done before at a reduced rate of £8 for 24 hours. Nice modern hotel in a great location with free quick wifi and close to Leeds city centre with a couple of bars on the doorstep.
