Honestly, Hotel Austria was such a top tier stay. The location is really top notch for location. It’s steps away from the Main Plaza in Leon and pretty much most of the things you’d need to walk to. Refrigerators weren’t automatically in the rooms, but you can rent a refrigerator for an extremely reasonable price. Mine was under $5USD for the entire time I was there. The courtyard and the rooms have a nice secluded oasis feel given that it’s so close to city center and it was pleasing to come back to after all the tours, nightlife, or exploring. The breakfast included was made to order. There were options like the traditional America, Pancakes, and some other things, but I went with #4 The Nicaraguan because that’s where we’re at and it was amazing every time. It came with coffee (about two cups worth) and orange juice. Safety was on point. They have a guard in the front all day/night and they can also help you get a taxi as well. I have no complaints and highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Leon.

Lovely, completely comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Leon and will return.

Nice Stay in Leon Hotel Austria is a great place to stay in Leon. The staff were very friendly, the hotel room was cleaned daily, and breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect too. One block from Central Square.

Spent two evenings in Hotel. Check in and check out was fast. Ate breakfast at hotel. Room provides safe, air conditioning and TV. Room was quiet. Hotel is about three minutes from La Catedral. Location is good since you have a lot of things nearby. You are able to purchase water and soda at reception area

Heritage hotel in Leon with a central garden courtyard. The rooms are basic but do have air-con. The hotel does not have a pool and overall is looking a bit tired. The breakfast was very ordinary and there is no bar. I stayed here as part of a group tour and even our guide thought this hotel was not of a suitable standard and had advised the tour company to consider an alternative. The staff were friendly, but I would not stay here again.

Great place to stay in Leon. Very central, can walk everywhere, one block from the cathedral. Very friendly service. Clean but basic. Good breakfast included. Another plus is the parking lot on site. Everything is very easily accesible. Would definitely stay again.
