This is a fantastic hotel. The moment you are welcomed in you get a sense of the care people have taken with building this hotel. Everything optimizes the use of space well, is practical, and very nicely laid out. The rooms themselves are very unique and allow for privacy (lower and top levels) and have tons of storage space. Immaculately clean, with all soaps, gels, and hairdryer. Came with 3 bottles of complimentary water. No mini fridge or microwave in these rooms. The communal area and lobby are really set for you to relax and enjoy your time. Oh yeah they have an arcade machine in lobby you can play for free with a friend. When we were stranded for the night and needed to wait at the hotel until 3am for a taxi, the front desk offered a reduced rate for us, gave us blankets to keep warm, toothbrushes, and offered for us to use the shower room. BREAKFAST: This was 13 euros—there are not many options at all in this area for breakfast so it is worth the money if you do not want to eat in Chamonix proper. Selection of toast, pancakes, Jams, honey, cheeses, hot options included scrambled eggs, mushrooms, bacon, sausages. Teas, coffees, granola, cereal, and crescents as well. Overall breakfast was plentiful - only criticism some things could have been warmer. DINNER They have their own herb garden in the back and the dinner we had was exceptional. Never would think hotel made! they locally sourced all their items and specify where. Our waiter Ciel was extremely hospitable—everyone at the hotel tried their best to help us. Drinks were best of trip. The fried rissoto and fresh cod were wonderful. LAUNDRY They have a laundry room: 5 euros for a wash; 3 euros for dryer. These are large machines and we were able to fit two peoples laundry in one. TRANSIT Tourists can get a free day time travel card to use in transits from hotel. Do note if travelling in night bus in Chamonix you will need to play 2 euros. Bus stop right outside hotel and 15 min ride to city Center. It’s the culture of the hotel that stood out to me. Everyone cares and will try to make your stay the best

Good size room to accommodate two suitcases and two backpacks. Very comfortable bed and pillows plus a great rain head shower. Terrific balcony overlooking the Alps. Very friendly and helpful staff, plus good English spoken. Good dinner and breakfast available. Wifi reception quite poor. Quite room and quiet lounge available on each floor - with a bookcase to swap books? Ideal place to have as a base if you prefer multiple day walks.

Let me confess that my previous experience of Ibis hotels on the Continent has been limited, and I'd not paid sufficient attention to the different Ibis sub-brands. So our stay at this Ibis Style was a revelation, and a pleasant one at that. We arrived just after midnight (after a race from the ferry at Genoa) and slightly fretting that things would be slightly shut-up, but none of it. A friendly welcome and assistance, then quickly off to our room. It was a comfortable 5-bed family room that coped with us and our two 20-something lads with ease. Thoughtful design (sockets and switches in all the right places) was very evident. The room was good value. And the breakfast was outstanding! Not too many french hotel breakfasts have me leaving nicely full, but this one did. Thoroughly recommended! And although we were just using the hotel as a one-night stopover, the village is gorgeous. We agreed that we must come back to stay a few days longer another time.

First let me say the hotel is lovely, the suite was great. From the photos I did expect there to be a separation between the sofa bed and the main bed so it must depend which suite they give you. Ours only had just enough space to walk between the two. Most of the staff are friendly and try to be helpful (see below). Breakfast was great. You can order ”snacking” from the bar until 6pm but then the restaurant doesn't open until 7pm. We didn't use the restaurant but we did have snacking one evening. The food was good but the woman serving at the bar was terrible. Not very polite, not very helpful, almost rude. Really not what you expect in such a classy hotel. After the food was delivered (by other staff) we asked her for cutlery because it didn't come with any.....she didn't do anything. In the end I reached into the restaurant and took some off one of the tables. When my wife shortly after reached in again and took a napkin the woman from the bar complained. The location I would call average. You can walk into a busier area of town in 10 minutes or so. There's one restaurant opposite called Little Boxes which we went to a lot, it does great pizza, hamburgers, drinks, etc. After booking the room I asked the hotel for help from with transfers, equipment hire and ski school for children. Transfers - expensive at 260 Euros each way but they were good. There was a problem with the return transfer being set at the time the flight departed but fortunately I checked the day before and changed it. Equipment hire - Skiset - is in the hotel. They also look after the equipment when you're not using it (see below). Ski School - ESF - very good, the problems arose due to the hotel being some distance from Les Plenards which is where the lessons take place. You have to get there by 9am. It's 20+ minutes walk which you can't do in boots while carrying skis. The bus stop is just opposite the hotel but the woman on reception I asked told me when the bus goes but said it takes 15 minutes and you have to change. So since Skiset doesn't open until 8.30 that doesn't leave enough time. But you have to get there well before 8.30 because there will be a queue. So we ordered a taxi for 30 euros. Turns out the buses go at 8.24 and 8.44 and take 7-10 minutes direct. In the hotel there's a sign which says no ski boots in the lift. So to get the 8.24 you have to ignore that or clomb up the stairs in your boots and carrying skis and then down again in the morning. Or you can collect your skis at 8.30 and catch the 8.44 - If you can get on it. The buses are great in terms of where and when they go, the problem is there's no queue system so every time it's a battle to get on the bus. It's worse at the end of the day because everyone is tired and desperate to get back and the bus doesn't always stop in the same place so because there's no queue system it's pot luck whether you get on it. First of all, the location of the hotel is right in front of the Chamonix South bus stop. It's a really fantastic location for those who use Flixbus or Swisstours buses. There is also a cafe, bar and restaurant in the hotel, so it is very convenient. The inside of the accommodation is very clean, probably because it is a new building, and the staff are very friendly. The view of the Alps of Chamonix from inside the room is also of the highest value. It is also equipped with a coffee pot, and the bathroom is also very clean.

This hotel is located quite far away from Chamonix. We stayed here for two nights during Mont Blanc Marathon, since almost all hotels in Chamo center were fully booked. The hotel has a perfect location for few hikes: You can walk to Bossons glacier and Merlet animal park from the hotel. Both places are behind a good hike (2-5 hours). The breakfast was ok. The pool was closed due to fire :( Avoid rooms towards the motorway. This was a good budget option during a peak moment, but next time I shall stay closer to Chamonix.

Hotel in ottima posizione con un bel panorama e un giardino rilassante con giochi per i bimbi. Bus navetta per le meravigliose Val ferret e Val Veny appena fuori dall'hotel. Camera family e spazi comuni molto puliti. Una nota positiva per la cortesia di tutto il personale e del proprietario che ti accoglie come in famiglia dando ogni tipo di consiglio su visite ed escursioni. A 300 mt. dall'imperdibile Sky Way monte Bianco. Ristorazione molto buona con scelta tra tre opzioni per la sera con ottimi piatti della tradizione. Unico consiglio: ampliare un po' l'offerta e varietà della colazione ancora con servizio legato al sistema del periodo Covid, un buffet libero, anche misto al servizio, sarebbe molto apprezzato dalla clientela, da consigliare sicuramente, bravi.

It is an option if you want a cheap stay near Chamonix. There are views of the mountains but it depends on the weather. I could not view due to fog covering the mountains. The drive to Chamonix is about an hour and about 2 hours to Geneva from here. The rooms are good with clean bedding. The reception is adequate. There is a restaurant not in the hotel but in a neighboring hotel. I was disappointed that the indoor pool and spa they advertised is not open. At least the website could have let us know. You can get by with English here. The location of the hotel is off the highway and you will have to drive a bit to get to restaurants and other amenities. Parking is free and this is a good benefit.

Although we own an apartment in beautiful Saint Gervais, it is currently undergoing refurbishment, and so, on two occasions recently, once with friends and once with my husband (and Max the dog) we’ve chosen to stay at the lovely new Le Saint Gervais Hotel and Spa. Saint Gervais has several hotel options, but none with quite this luxury or quite so modern. Given its location so close to the start of the village (and close to the new télécabine from Le Fayet which has been announced), it is very well placed to capture tourists, and as it is open all year round, both in the summer and winter seasons. There is so much to like about the hotel. It is spotlessly clean; rooms have balconies overlooking the mountains and the town; and the staff are friendly and attentive. The barman Louison deserves a special mention here, showing genuine warmth, welcoming our dog to the hotel, and attempting cocktails “off menu”. The restaurant is not due to open until August this year and so, as others have mentioned, breakfast is currently being served in a function room somewhat devoid of atmosphere. Breakfast itself is ok. Nothing to particularly criticise, nor get excited about either. The vacuum flasks of coffee are awful however!! I hope that once the restaurant is complete that the breakfast offering improves with perhaps coffee, omelettes etc served to order too. Rooms are air conditioned (which was a blessing the weekend we stayed) with fast and efficient wifi throughout the hotel. The spa area is small, and I think the hotel really missed the opportunity for an outside jacuzzi. Aside from a small outdoor pool and some loungers, there isn’t much to report outside. Overall, we loved our time at the hotel, and will be sure to return for drinks, meals, or special occasions even once our own apartment is complete. Thanks everyone!!
