I'd heard for a long time that Leshan cuisine is famous, with Sichuan's best flavors found in Jiaozhou. This rare holiday, I decided to invite a good friend to Leshan for a trip. Before we left, I was really torn about which hotel to choose, haha. Then, by chance, I saw this 'Awakened by Dreams' river view hotel in Leshan that a friend had recommended, so I just booked it right away! [frowning emoji] After arriving in Leshan, we went straight to the hotel, dropped off our luggage, and headed out for some delicious food! [rose emoji] Speaking of food, I have to mention that the hotel's location itself is right on Leshan's most famous Shangzhongshun Food Street. Nearby, there are many old establishments that have been open for decades, so you can pick any one and you won't be disappointed. For us foodies, it was simply the best choice, haha. The hotel front desk service was also very thoughtful, kindly sending us lots of food guides and tips for sightseeing. [grinning face with smiling eyes emoji] Downstairs from the hotel is a riverside road. We took a stroll along the river to the Guanfo Pavilion at Xiaogongzui, enjoying Leshan's riverside night view. It was truly refreshing. My friend and I were both very satisfied with this Leshan trip. Next time we visit Leshan, we'll definitely choose 'Xiao Meng's Place' again! [hand gesture showing OK emoji]

I stayed at this hotel in late January. I didn't pay attention to the details when I booked, but there was road construction directly in front of the main entrance, making it inaccessible to vehicles. I had to take a taxi to a residential area near the back of the hotel. I was quite disoriented when I got out of the car and had to search a bit before finding the main entrance. My first impression was a bit disappointing; the surroundings didn't seem very good. Some rooms faced the residential area. However, the front desk staff, both the young man and young woman, were incredibly friendly. Their warm smiles made up for the initial disappointment. They even helped me switch to a room with a partial river view. On the second day, when I went out, I realized that this location would be excellent if not for the road construction. It offers river views, and a snack street with many well-known eateries is just a 10-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining. If the road construction is finished, a stroll along the river would be quite pleasant. The picture shows the view outside the hotel's main entrance.

The hotel's location is pretty good. The Ganji Tofu Brain and Liu's Duck on Xingfa Street next door are both excellent, and you can walk to various eateries on Dongdajie in about 15 minutes. However, the parking signs for the hotel are not very clear, and the ramp is narrow, so you need to be extra careful. The garage feels quite dusty and dim. The strangest thing is that the stair lights illuminate the steps you've already walked past, not the ones you're about to step on! One more thing to note: the hotel's air freshener scent is a bit strong. Although the tea fragrance itself is pleasant, it becomes a bit overwhelming after a while.

I stayed in a French-style room that was converted from an old building into two floors. It was unique, but you could only see the inside. The surrounding environment was pretty ordinary, essentially a residential area. I wouldn't recommend it if you need absolute quiet for sleeping, as it's located in a bustling food street, which can be noisy and smell of cooking fumes. However, it was incredibly convenient for eating out. Perhaps because I visited during a non-peak holiday, there weren weren't many people, and the soundproofing inside the building was decent, except for the noise from outside on rainy days. Although I only found out afterward that the hotel's unique feature was cat petting (and I'm a cat owner myself, so I can tolerate it), the cat area in the lobby led to a rather strong odor upon entering, which wasn't very pleasant for the guest experience.
