The Mercure Lille Airport gives a solid impression when you enter, it looks renovated. The room we got was big with an ample bathroom. It was all very clean, no complaints whatsoever. But when we went to the restaurant to have dinner we were getting a totally diffrent opinion. The menucard was very short ( that is normally no problem) but we were surprised when we served the starter ( on the menu is was stated as ”duo pate”). We got on the plate 2 tiny tins (just from the supermarket) the only thing they did was opening the tins!!!! Very bizar and far away from the famous ” french cuisine”. Main course was mesh patatoes with fish, really nothing worth remembering. Having seen the quality they presented we skipped the dessert. Furthermore a ladysinger and a guitarman were making music so loud, that is was impossible to have normal conversation with each other. After discussing this with the waiter we could move to a table in the ” ouskirts of the diningroom” and even then it was too loud. Mind you the public consisted of 5 to 6 people, so why the lady set up such an alarming voice was very questionable. All in all conclusion : hotel/room 8 out of 10 , restaurant 4 out of 10. Breakfast in the morning was luckely very OK! completely different compared with the dining experience.

Nous avons réservé à l'avance plusieurs chambres pour un mariage et avons bénéficié d'un tarif particulièrement avantageux (moins cher qu'un deux étoiles...) et toute la famille a été surprise en bien par la superficie des chambres et des salles de bains. C'est clair, spacieux, propre et confortable. Excellente literie. Salle de bains avec baignoire et grande douche italienne séparée - WC séparés - Petit déjeuner correct malgré l'affluence Excellent accueil et personnel très disponible, souriant et affable Nous conseillons vraiment cet établissement

We have chosen this teaching, more expensive than other competing channels, which choose the comfort and quality of services.
