Parador de Mojacar

Excellent service, clean, friendly and great location. We rate this hotel and staff very highly. Most rooms face the sea, we stayed in 509. Large superior room, great TV (you can cast your apps to it easily), huge bed, easily a super king size. Intimate and private balcony facing the sea. There is no kettle, tea, coffee or iron the room. Most memorable tho, are the staff who made our 2 night stay very enjoyable. Daniel on reception is outstanding; great communication skills and very knowledgeable about the town and facilities. Emilio and his colleagues in the restaurant are pleasant, helpful and welcoming. This is a must stay location for anyone visiting Mojacar.

Nice, quiet and relaxed parador with direct view to the Mediterranean Sea. The restaurant needs to improve their variety on the menu. The staff is very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean.

Easily found on the main street of Mojacar, a large spacious car park and gorgeous grounds. The staff at the reception was welcome and friendly. The whole hotel is gorgeous and a maze of quaint spaces. Our room was spacious and honestly wonderful. Lots of little extras that are missed at other hotels. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the bar or restaurant as my partner had a cold and therefore had to stay in bed. The whole experience, however, was lovely.

Easy to find, good location, very good quality, friendly staff, exceptionally clean, and a great nights sleep. I rarely provide reviews but this hotel deserves my time giving a review, never before have I given an excellent score my only disappointment was that my eggs and bacon for breakfast were cold.

Read some of the varying reviews on this hotel, but decided to book it all the same. Don’t bother booking “All Inclusive” as you honestly get treated like second class, an inconvenience to the staff. None of them look happy, if you pay for your drinks they will pour from the spirit bottle at your table with a bottled soda or coke. If you are on AI and order the same, you get god knows what and a mixer from the tap. The hotel itself? Paid for a sea view with balcony, complete waste of money. Pool area needed tidied up, grass was a disgrace, was there anything positive about this place? Hotel was at the back of beyond in the hinterlands, food was ok, would we go back, no, never

Confusing hotel layout, we saw others equally confused, that meant our room was a long walk from reception and the corridors were very cold, it was January and we had lashing rain, so perhaps this was uncommon. The decor is tasteful and had it not been so cold, comfortable. Bathrooms are very well appointed and beds and pillows comfortable, but quilts could have been heavier, for the time of year. Breakfast was very disappointing for the additional charge, it simply wasn’t worth it and I’d recommended using one of the restaurants that are very close to the hotel. As a vegan myself, the choice was abysmal. They offered a vegan salad, this consisted of a tablespoons worth of chopped tomato and onion, with some dried oregano, otherwise unseasoned and not enough to cover a slice of toast. Like the small portions of salad, pieces of fruit was rationed into little glasses, which made the selection look larger than it was. The ladies serving were rushed off their feet. Hot offerings were available, to order separately. Coffee served by the cup, which needed to be ordered, as did the tea. It didn’t feel relaxing and considering the price, one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever seen in a decent Spanish Hotel. I would stay at the hotel again, I would not pay for breakfast and the dinner menu did not encourage me to eat there, but would suit a meat or fish eater I’m sure.

Large bathroom but dated. Shower head turned in holder with pressure of water then sprayed onto screen, ran down and out though gap at bottom - flooding the floor I was very ill during the night and couldn’t travel onwards the next day

The hotel location was fantastic, literally over the road from the sea. Lots of parking available too, inside, the hotel is immaculate, very modern. Unfortunately though, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, but I would definitely stay at the parador again in the future
