Staybridge Suites LEXINGTON by IHG

The hotel was undergoing massive renovations when we visited, so the experience will likely be much better for those visiting after the work is done. However, noise was not an issue, so don’t let the construction scare you off if the price is right. We still got good sleep there. The room was spotlessly clean, but they didn’t take out the trash often enough in the dining area downstairs. There were a lot of fruit flies in there. The breakfast was okay, but there were even less options that you might expect. The juice machine was also out of apple juice even though we ate around 7:00am. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and looked nice. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good heat and water pressure. The location was perfect for accessing downtown by car.

At breakfast there was not enough spoons for guests. The water in my room was not running when I called the front desk they said it was because of a flood and that they had sent a message but never got one.

The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. The 5:30-7 pm events on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday was delicious and I met so many people from all over the United States. The lady who was the host was so sweet and a pleasure to talk too. Tonya deserves big Kudos for helping me at check in. The young gentleman who wears a sweater and went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable. I love Staybridges Hotels. Thank you all.

Liked the location of the hotel. Road construction and hotel renovation currently ongoing.

Appreciate Tonya and Sidney for assisting me yesterday as I made an error. After fixing my error they made my checking in a breeze.I thank them for helpfulness and patience.

Parking was decent, close to places to eat. Hotel overall was pretty good. Breakfast was not good, woman who was working Breakfast the first morning we were there was incredibly rude. Pool closed for construction.

Terrible smell of mold in room-had to switch. New room not much better. Furniture in room looked dirty and unkept. Not willing to sit.

High value hotel. Perfect for our one week stay. Kudos to the breakfast lady and her home cooked biscuits !

When we first arrived, we were placed in Room 101, which is located directly next to the hotel pool. The layout made for an extremely disruptive experience—the pool was just steps down the hallway, and very close by was also a stairwell and an exterior door. Within minutes of being in the room, we were dealing with loud noise from the pool, doors constantly slamming, and heavy foot traffic. At one point, we even heard voices right outside our door. When I opened it, I found a guest and their child changing clothes directly in front of our room due to its proximity to the pool. This was uncomfortable and completely unexpected. We brought this to the attention of the front desk, and I do want to note that they handled the situation promptly. We were moved to a room on the top floor, which we appreciated, and the remainder of our evening was much more peaceful. However, the next morning raised additional concerns. Around 8:45 AM, someone attempted to enter our room without warning. Thankfully, we had the door latch engaged. All we heard was someone say “oops” before walking away. We were left unsure if this was housekeeping or room service, but it was unsettling to have someone try to enter. Breakfast was another disappointment. We arrived around 9:30 AM, about an hour before it was scheduled to end, but most items were already gone. Hotel is also showing its age too.
