Tru by Hilton Lexington University Medical Center

Easily one of the best hotel experiences I've had. I had to book the hotel in a pinch when the other hotel I booked through trip.com did not have electricity when I showed up for my stay. The staff and accommodations are excellent. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable. I would definitely book again.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice, hot, and clean. The room was clean and comfy. It’s a good walk to the Rupp Arena/downtown area, but doable. Sidewalks available on the entire walk. We had a great stay!

Property is right across from hospital which could be good or bad :-) rooms are clean and comfortable

Haven’t traveled in a while but was surprised with this cute little hotel. Very clean! Looked clean and smelled clean. Very quick and easy check in. Was also in a great location as we were there for a doctors appointment.Definitely recommend!

The only problem was the noise of the person in the room above us, you need to install carpet to quiet it down

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had is that we didn’t get any sleep. The room next to us was loud all night. Talking loud, slamming doors. We had driven three hours for a doctors appointment very early the next day. When we left they had a quiet sign on their door.

Great hotel right across the street from the main entrance to CHI St. Joseph's Hospital. Very modern look inside resembles a walk through IKEA. Breakfast was good but I really appreciated the water bottle refilling station. We had to extend our stay 2 nights and the staff was very accommodating. Plenty of restaurants within waking distance, including DD and Slim Chickens is 100 feet away. We had to be in Lexington for my father-in-law being at St. Joe's but Tru made it as comfortable as possible.

This hotel is a great, affordable addition to the UK campus area. I stayed there for work I had downtown because I did not want to pay $350 or more a night because my conference was held during football season and Keeneland. The hotel is clean, the free parking is very convenient, and the hotel is close to quite a few good local places to eat. The two ladies who were working the front desk when I checked in on 10/17/23 were fantastic, and I really appreciate their help. My only complaint about the property is that the rooms are very loud. There is little to no sound proofing in the walls or ceiling, and because there is no carpeting, the noise bleeds between rooms easily. I stayed on the 2nd floor, and the people staying directly above me on my second night were unbelievably loud. I asked to be moved, and the hotel was unable to accommodate me due to being sold out. The first night of my stay was great with no complaints at all. If you stay and want to better ensure a quiet night, ask to be placed on the 4th floor at check in.
