Best Western El Sitio Hotel Casino

Excellent stay! Loved the grounds and the peacocks. Room was clean. Restaurant and pool very nice. Real vacation vibe! Good location, easy walk to town.

A good place to stay over if you fly to/from Liberia, the room is out of date but the location is great steps away from a plaza where you can find bunches of food. Plus the peacocks in the property are a plus

We booked our last night in Costa Rica there to have an evening in the ****** and a nice buffet breakfast in the morning before heading to the airport. The hotel is beautiful and the pool area is gorgeous. The rooms were great.(except weirdly no faceclothes) However, the ****** was closed and no mention of it upon booking and highly advertised as hotel and ******. And, the buffet breakfast consisted of cold eggs and a bunch of carbs. No meats. When asked if more eggs were coming staff just pointed at the cold ones in the near empty pan.

I have stayed in the room #2 facing the Main Street. loud music all night until 5 am. impossible to rest.

This is a decent place to stay for just one night before our flight on the next day. The hotel offers free breakfast. You might find few insects in the room, but this is common in Costa Rica. There are also some peacocks in the hotel

No coffee for the coffee maker or creamer. Floor felt gritty my husband wished the doors had security lo k. He said shower had to be held by hand if not the water sprayed all over the bathroom floor making it dangerous. Called front desk several times to get help with the internet no answer.

Location is great - next to Santa Plaza - next to Walmart - next to Star bucks. Excellent breakfast - so many items in the breakfast - fresh fruits, continental and traditional breakfast items. They have Peacocks in the facilities. The Peacocks are very friendly and will roam around the tourists. Swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball court, nice hut style sitting tables. Just great.

Great price/value. Includes breakfast. Free parking. If you’re staying to catch a flight in the morning, know that your sleep will be interrupted by the bass sound and people singing at the disco across the street AND all the kids running in the hallways and talking loud even after 10pm. Yes and even later that I needed to complain to the front desk. If you’re a family with kids, on vacation, then this hotel will be good for you. A huge pool, lots of playgrounds, kids play freely and no security will calm them down even at late hours. I am not saying it’s a bad hotel. It all depends on why you are there.
