Hotel Boyeros

Liberia is small town anyway so close to all locations. It’s cater to local residents and look like popular as the occupancy is high. Amenities is adequate recommended second floor.

Had a 2nd floor balcony room (206) x 2 nights. Pros outweighed the cons: very helpful, nice workers; strong shower water pressure; great mattresses; fabulously cool and quiet A/C; decent Wi-Fi; lovely natural grounds with birdsong amid exquisite sparkling pools; nice breakfast buffet included with room; Santa Rosa Plaza across the road with a fine grocery store and a great crepe cafe, among others. Cons: a lot of truck and car noise on highway as others have said; traffic congestion in Liberia during the main part of the day; and noise from people in the pool area late into the night. But I’d totally want to stay at Boyeros again - for the real Costa Rican experience - ear plugs not to be forgotten.

Our stay here was amazing. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The food at the restaurant and at breakfast was great. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a short or long stay.

The rooms are basic and clean. We only needed a place to rest after a long flight so this was a good option just 30 minutes from LIR airport. Check in was easy and quick. Our kids enjoyed the pool, and we enjoyed the lush garden and breakfast at the hotel. It is an older hotel with no elevators so if you're on the second floor like us, you'll have to carry your luggages up. We noticed little tiny ants inside the room. We found them in the bathroom and on the bed's comforter.

Outdoor pool looked good but we didn’t have any use for it. No refrigerator in the room and no ice machine and the cold water was way down stairs next to the office and a lot of street noise

Boyeros has a beautiful courtyard full of mature trees with a lovely pool. The staff works hard to keep the pool skimmed and the grounds maintained. The free breakfast was tipico- Gallo pinto, eggs, plantains, and sweet corn pancakes, with fresh fruit and various baked goods. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The air conditioning works well, the room was clean, and the beds comfy (sidenote: I like a firm bed). It was really nice to be able to book a room with three beds.

The location was good and close to the airport. The breakfast was good and very convenient that it was included and opens early. The pool is kept nice and clean. The room was clean.
