Classic Premier Inn quality, comfortable beds, good location. Breakfast could be better, not enough options for vegetarians. Coffee could be better.

We arrived at 14:15 and was charged £15 extra to check in early !!! The room 312 was tired looking the chair in the room was ripped the bed looked crumpled like the duvet was to big for the cover. Saturday night we wanted to watch the England match but the bar was closed. Sunday morning there were no tables free to eat breakfast so we left. No Parking at the hotel so we had to park in a multis storey and carry all our baggage across. There also was a lack of staff presence.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good location, very near the city centre and surprisingly quiet. The automated check-in facility didn't recognise our booking, but a very welcoming member of staff quickly checked us in using a laptop. The friendly and efficient member of staff at breakfast quickly sorted out a just vacated table for us. The public car park is very near by and £4.30 for 24 hrs is reasonable. The parking spaces to use that are near to Premier Inn is well signposted.

Very poor experience, no sleep for 2 consecutive nights, requested a move but declined because hotel was full. Some one in the room above us pacing up and down in heavy boots all night long, one of our worst hotel experiences ever.

We found the hotel easy to find, the staff were welcoming, friendly and always very helpful. It was a relief to arrive in our air-conditioned room during an exceptionally hot heatwave. Our TV had no sound and wouldn't switch off, so we spoke to a member of staff, and it was quickly fixed - the remote had stopped working and was replaced with a new one. The multi-storey car park at the back was useful, and signs point the way to it from the hotel. Inside, there is an area for Premier Inn guests, but only a few spaces are allocated. One day, we had to drive around the car park to find a space, then moved our car later. It is a short walk from the car park to the side of the hotel, and parking is not expensive. As other reviewers have said, do not park in the flat car park across the road (before we set off, I'd done my research and this was helpful advice after a long drive in the heat). The only criticism of the room is that the shower is over the bath, and the bath is deep, making it hard to get in and out of if you are not very tall or struggle to get your legs over the edge. It would be better to have a walk-in shower.

Stayed 2 nights, no sleep to be had on either night due to disturbance 24/7 from room above us. Informed staff but no alternative room available. A very poor experience overall.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my enemies. The AC/ventilation system didn’t work for 3 days of our stay, the windows don’t open; the staff brought us a fan on the last night, but that doesn’t solve the issue of stale air. We got lucky we left before the peak of the heatwave. The shower head needs replacing, but i could’ve disregard this issue if the ventilation system was working.

We are normally ardent Premier Inn supporters but so far Premier Inn Lichfield is proving somewhat disappointing for the £291 paid for 2 nights. Large room but devoid of furniture, very little storage space, 1 "easy" chair & no table.

Dirty room.Temperature controls didn’t work.very basic for the price (100 pounds)Poor amenities.

Don't accept room 108 as this is above the main reception so you just drop off to sleep then the sound of the automatic door at the entrance which was below our room wakes you up and this went on all night as people were coming in or popping out for a cigarette.

Friendly staff especially Tracey the cook she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed breakfast in the morning,great clean room easy check in

Premier inn Lichfield was a lovely friendly hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were professional and pleasant. Best nights sleep we've had in ages

our first experience at thus premier inn... staff was friendly, helpful and professional towards me and my children.... the room was lovely a lovely cool temperature when we arrived as we had a heatwave at the time... there was a little welcome gift for the boys which they loved... plenty of cleam towels ... the boys found the beds very comfy and would have loved to stay another night extra... we will definitely be back again 🖤
