I enjoyed my stay there … the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant (for breakfast) were brilliant; breakfast was excellent … topped by the hotel being a five minute walk to the Beacon Parkrun start/finish spot! Brilliant.

Amazing staff The staff at this hotel are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They really make the place. The fabric of the building is getting a little tired. Housekeeping of the rooms is not done daily which I was ok with but it meant the tea tray was not refilled regularly nor the cups changed.

Tidy older hotel. Night stand was very dusty, so I’m not sure when our room as used last. Shower was fantastic, warning for the hot water should not be ignored! This was a convenient walk into town.

DECENT PLACE Decent hotel. Room was nice- good bed, great shower. The public areas were a bit dated. ‘Fallen grander’ sort of thing but not too bad. The were quite helpful in thinking where could i store my cycle overnight. In the end we agree in my room was the easiest place.
