Hotel Speranza

This is our go to place for an evening cocktail and a spot of people watching. Perfectly located on the main walking ***** with friendly staff and great service. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Lido di Jelsolo and looking for a place for a drink.

This hotel is really nice and very clean. Prior to our trip I requested a room upgrade but have only given it a 4 as we only discovered on arrival that the room request had been granted but no one could tell us how much extra this would cost and if we slept in the room, we would have to pay the extra regardless! (At this point, we had not even seen the room but agreed as we were so tired after a 2 hour flight delay). 2 days later, we were told it would cost €15 a night. They eventually agreed on €75 fir the week. Being vegan, as I am, could have presented a problem for the hotel kitchen but they stepped up to the mark and provided a good selection of food for me. The Mistral tour rep, Debbie Turnbull, was also on the ball with providing little snack biscuits and almond milk for my breakfast although there was an excellent selection of cereals, breads and preserves suitable for vegans.Debbie was very helpful throughout the holiday. On our second last night, the air conditioning was turned off 'for the season' as the weather had turned cooler. However, the room remained very warm. It was too warm to sleep so we had to leave the balcony doors open all night which meant that outside noises interrupted sleep. I think guests should have a choice as to whether or not they want the air-con on in the rooms they have paid for. As a result of this, we paid €60 for the room upgrade but I think this was still too much. The hotel staff team (and Debbie) were very helpful

Great location right in the middle of Jesola and close to the beach. Our room was very spacious as was the shower room and balcony. Downside, we were half board and the choice of food was not very good. Breakfast was a choice of processed meats and cheese, processed sausage and scrambled/baked eggs. Good choice of bread, cereal etc but tea and coffee served in open topped jugs and went cold quickly. Dinner was very basic, salad,pasta and the main was really a let down and no hot veg. We would use the hotel again but purely B&B as there are plenty restaurants nearby. Apparently their season is May till mid September, insect repellent is a must.

Stayed here for a week on a Mistral Holidays tour. First impressions of the hotel were good. Nice clean reception & lounge area with outdoor seating & two decent sized lifts. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space. The safe was so small that a tablet or a camera wouldn't fit & there was no kettle in the room. Had to use the sink without a plug all week despite two attempts to repair. The food was the worse aspect as there was little choice or variety & was very often lukewarm at best. Breakfast was a buffet with the same food on offer every morning. Evening meal, pre-ordered the night before, was served at your table but was had a narrow 19.30 to 20.00 window which didn't really suit us & was generally tepid & tasteless. The staff were very polite, friendly & helpful but this wouldn't be my hotel of choice if I ever came back to Jesolo.

Fantastic location, 2 minute walk to the beach and on the main shopping/eating street, lovely helpful friendly staff, cleanliness is spot on. Food for 3* is just OK, it could be a lot better. Be quick because once it's gone it's gone & not replenished, food is not served very hot, this did let the hotel down a bit because everything else was brilliant. We would definitely stay here again.

This has been our go-to bar in Jesolo for people watching almost every night we have been here. The service is excellent and the drinks are very good and well priced. Regardless of where you are staying I would recommend taking a break on their veranda bar.
