Youran Jianquanwu Inn Smart Ancient City View Inn (Gucheng Dashuiche Branch)

Very close to the North Gate of the Ancient City, just across a road. After taking the bus from the airport, we got off near the hotel and a staff member came to pick us up. The hotel is newly renovated and very clean, with smart systems throughout. It's not noisy at all, offering a quiet escape in a lively area. Getting to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is also very convenient from here.

This hotel is super close to the North Gate of the Ancient City, just across one road. We took a bus from the high-speed rail station, got off near the hotel, and a friendly staff member came to meet us right after we crossed the road. It's newly renovated, very clean, and everything is smart-controlled. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a lively area, offering a peaceful retreat. Getting to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is also easy; you can catch bus 101 from Hong Taiyang Square. Very convenient!

Traveling with my parents, the owner was really kind and arranged airport pick-up or drop-off for us once each day for three consecutive nights. It's very close to Lijiang Ancient Town, just a short walk through an alley. Dining and takeout options are very convenient.

I seriously doubt you could find a worse hotel for over 300 yuan. First off, the room was tiny and didn't look anything like the pictures, plus the soundproofing was terrible. Location-wise, you have to climb several steep hills to get there, so I wouldn't recommend it for older guests or families with children carrying luggage. Some guesthouses offer shuttle services or help with bags, but when I asked the staff for advice on getting around, their only response was 'take a taxi.' The front desk was usually unstaffed, and the service was mediocre at best. Cleanliness was also an issue – there was dust on the comforter and the mirror was broken.

This place has parking, which is great for those traveling by car. If you're on a high floor, you get direct views of the ancient city, and it's also a convenient walk there. There's even a terrace for sightseeing – pretty nice! The room facilities are quite good, though there's no elevator. The owner is happy to help with luggage though.

The owner is very nice; they offer recommendations for local attractions and provide airport pick-up/drop-off service.

The room was fully smart, clean, and offered great value for money. It's very close to the North Gate of the old town, and transportation was convenient. The owner even helped me with my luggage, which I really appreciated!
