The design is very stylish, with flagstone paths, wooden doors, and tasteful flowers and plants. The staff are attentive, and the view is excellent, overlooking the entire ancient city. I will definitely come again. Highly recommended!!!

I stayed here three years ago, and this time I brought my whole family back. The service is still as excellent as ever. I highly recommend the cured pork hotpot; it's delicious.

Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. The room was meticulously cleaned and very tidy. Ambiance: The environment was quiet and comfortable, nestled on a hill. It was incredibly relaxing and offered panoramic views of the ancient city. The layout was clever, making it easy to navigate even for first-time visitors. Service: The service attitude was superb. They went out of their way to meet guests' needs and even guided us through local culture and customs. The hotel also offered many cultural activities to participate in. Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive, with everything from a pool, gym, and spa to dining options. You could enjoy dining and fitness services right within the hotel. They even had a private cinema, which was a great touch. The only minor drawback was that some facilities needed better maintenance. During my stay, I noticed some lights in the room were faulty, some wooden doors in the hotel were difficult to open and close, and the interior of the hotel shuttle vehicle was a bit old and peeling. I hope maintenance can be improved in the future.

The location is superb, offering a panoramic view of the ancient city from Lion Rock. This is by far the most unique experience among the three Aman hotels in China. Both the airport transfer driver and the hotel staff were incredibly nice and attentive to every detail. The yak hot pot is a must-try; the ingredients for all meals were fresh, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. The mini-bar soft drinks in the room were also restocked regularly. It happened to be my ***** birthday, and they even prepared a delicious cake for me. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

Nestled in the ancient city, this hotel offers a serene escape with stunning views of snow-capped mountains. It's truly a gem, I couldn't find a single flaw and it's definitely worth a stay. The staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel's facilities, local culture, and dining options. They're attentive without being intrusive. We really enjoyed Mányixuan, dining there four times – the cured pork ribs and yak meat were absolutely delicious. The spa and mini-bar were also great additions.

It’s a journey, not just a hotel. This was my biggest takeaway from my Aman experience. Regarding the environment, it's elegant yet secluded, a dialogue between the architecture, interior, ancient town, and distant mountains, paying homage to Naxi culture and a thousand years of history. As for the experience, both the service and the booked activities make you want to spend more time at the hotel. The pleasant surprise of a back entrance leading directly to Wenchang Palace and the ancient town perfectly illustrates the separation between bustle and tranquility. Regarding the dining, the à la carte breakfast buffet and the yak hotpot for dinner reinforce the belief that Aman's taste is always exceptional.
