We were a bit nervous when first arriving as the hotel or inn, we realised was actually inside the Shuhe Ancient Village. A quick phone call later, one of the staff came out with a 3-wheeler scooter, loaded our luggage into the back, and took us for a short walk inside the village to the hotel. The staff were super welcoming including the owner and big thanks to "Tony", the young guy we nicknamed who helped us check in and gave great advice for the next few days of where to go and do. Its never easy for family with two teenagers to find a room big enough, but the duplex suite with two floors and two king sized beds was perfect! The little village of Shuhe is an amazing little place to explore and much less commercial than the other ancient villages in the area. Some great foods and drinks to try, not to mention some beautiful little shops to explore through. Can highly recommend this hotel and the area of Lijiang for families, although I do recommend hiring a car or driver to get around.

I came here with children and the elderly. It was a safe stay. The children had fun and the elderly had a good rest.
The terrace faces the snow-capped mountains, the sun is comfortable, quiet and beautiful
I also gave the kids ravioli as a snack in the evening. It was great.
Travel:
Helped arrange and book routes and tickets. It was fun, fulfilling and not tiring. It was a romantic journey.

The kids like this small tent. I paid extra to upgrade to this room. It has floor heating and is very comfortable to live in. It is very close to the north gate and is easy to get in and out. The breakfast is delicious and rich. There are very few inns in the ancient town that can provide breakfast. very nice! The service is also very good. When I come back from playing and my clothes are dirty, there is a laundry room where I can wash my clothes👍. There is a tavern opposite, which is very convenient for eating and drinking. After comparing many B&Bs, they have floor heating, breakfast included, and a gym. The price of this room is too good! Who in the family understands? ! ! They will create a group chat when you check in. If you have any needs, talk to the group and they will help solve them immediately. The cafe can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, so you don’t have to go to the check-in coffee shop☕️ I originally thought I would go out and play around, but I ended up being so comfortable in the hotel that I didn’t even want to go out. The boss was so kind. He invited us to have dinner together and talk about multiple pairs of chopsticks🥹. It felt like we were at home. The food is so delicious! Highly recommended! ! ! 💯
