GRAND JOLI Demei Huasu·Cuiyuan (Dashuiche Branch, Lijiang Ancient Town)

This guesthouse is incredibly photogenic! The owner's cats and dogs are adorable, and the breakfast and afternoon tea spread are so generous. The New Chinese style afternoon tea, in particular, is absolutely stunning for photos. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang!

Very satisfied 👍. From the airport pick-up service to the check-in experience, we were taken care of every step of the way! The quaint courtyard feels like it has a built-in filter, the underfloor heating in the room was excellent, and the terrace was perfect for enjoying tea. Breakfast is pre-ordered, and the freshly squeezed juice and local snacks were made with great care. Even the afternoon tea desserts were impressive. Definitely worth it!

Really enjoyed it! The afternoon tea and breakfast were both excellent. The ambiance was very relaxing and comfortable, and they even offered turn-down service. It's a great place for an extended stay. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the ancient city. The painted fan activity was a lot of fun. The room was quite clean and tidy. Definitely worth another visit!

A rare find in China, this hotel boasts a high-end, all-wood structure, even the cabinets are made of small red sandalwood, making the pure building materials worthy of a 6-star rating. It's located at Longtou (Dragon's Head) in Heilongtan, the closest possible spot to Heilongtan Park.

The environment and location are absolutely top-notch. It's right next to Heilongtan Scenic Area, and you can enjoy the beautiful views from your room. The hotel buildings have a charming, antique style. Breakfast is à la carte and delicious, and the coffee is great too. Room facilities and service are excellent! Absolutely fantastic, this was by far my favorite and most memorable hotel stay during my Yunnan trip. It's right next to Heilongtan Park, almost feeling like it's part of the park itself. Our room literally felt like a corner of the park. The 'nanny room' is essentially a second bedroom, which was perfect for us with two adults and three kids. The kids loved soaking in their private patio tub at night – so relaxing! Every detail, from the sleep spray and eye masks to the quality toothpaste, showed the owner's thoughtful touch.
