This hotel offers an amazing experience! It's a private garden estate with incredible views of the snow-capped mountains – our room faced them directly, the setting was just perfect! The breakfast spread was also very generous, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back to stay here again!

I booked a one-bedroom villa, but the view upon check-in was quite disappointing – I was looking at other people's rooftops and eaves. I immediately brought this to the attention of the front desk, and the next day they upgraded me to a two-bedroom villa. The view was much better, though still not as stunning as the panoramic view from the restaurant. They also gave us a complimentary hot pot for two. Their response was incredibly quick and efficient; there was no delay at all. The shuttle cars arrived super fast when called, and the housekeeping auntie was also very kind and worked quickly. The service staff at the restaurant, especially, were excellent in both attitude and service. One server, "Meng Ruilin Aiden," heard me mention that my child had altitude sickness and promptly arranged for an oxygen tank and nutrient solution to be prepared for us. When he heard we were going out, he even packed some simple bread and fruit for us. Overall, this is a hotel that truly values feedback and has an excellent attitude. It's definitely worth staying at. BUT! BUT! BUT! BUT! In summer, there's no 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight,' and when it rains, there are no stars! Stargazing is entirely at your own expense through a third-party company, and it's not cheap!

The views are unbeatable! The room is spacious with a great layout, perfect for early risers and those who prefer to sleep in without disturbing each other. The service is excellent; they offer a shuttle bus to and from the Yulong Snow Mountain service center, and responses are quick. I will definitely come back again.

The room was incredibly spacious and clean. The two oxygen canisters and two bottles of glucose provided were a thoughtful touch. The view overlooking the snow-capped mountains was stunning, though unfortunately, due to the weather, we missed the 'Golden Mountain Sunrise' (the sunlight hitting the peak). The hotel's afternoon tea and breakfast were excellent, highly recommended! The complimentary Earl's travel photography session was also fantastic, especially the butler service from Max and Ava. I was extremely satisfied with their service. Max and Ava were available 24/7, patiently answering all our questions.

Staying at Jinmao Purelax Lijiang truly made me understand what it means to 'watch the golden mountains bathed in sunlight from your bed.' Our Snow Mountain Executive Suite was very spacious, and the tatami mat could be made into a bed for free, which was super convenient with kids. It even had two bathrooms and two shower rooms. During our stay, none of our family of four experienced any significant altitude sickness, even though the room was equipped with oxygen tanks. The hotel offers an astonishing array of activities, and none of them feel like mere formalities. In the morning, we went mushroom foraging with our butler; in the afternoon, we enjoyed complimentary afternoon tea at the lobby bar, followed by thangka painting and Naxi craft-making. In the evening, we joined the stargazing session at the observatory. We spent three days and two nights here and never left the hotel, yet we were never bored. What truly touched me was the staff. Every single person we encountered, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or organizing activities, as well as the makeup artist and photographer for our travel shoot, was genuinely warm and enthusiastic, making us feel incredibly welcome. How can I put it? The attention to detail revealed not just standardized service, but a heartfelt desire to genuinely host guests from afar. A special thanks for the birthday surprise for my child; it made this snow mountain trip even more unforgettable. Jinmao Purelax Lijiang is a must-stay hotel in your lifetime.

Pros: The hotel boasts unparalleled snow-capped mountain views. We were incredibly lucky to witness the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan), and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Breakfast and afternoon tea are included. The afternoon tea's 'pourouda' (a local dessert) was made with quality ingredients and was very generous in portion size. The staff generally responded quickly, though occasionally they would relay incorrect information. Special shout-out to Xiao Huang, the restaurant server, for her attentive and thoughtful service. The dinner dishes were, on the whole, very delicious. Highly recommend. Cons: There were several significant issues with the overall experience: 1. For two consecutive days, we found insects in the breakfast items. On the first day, it was a small black fly, and on the second, a maggot-like insect. This raises serious food safety concerns. 2. Upon arrival, there was no one at the concierge desk, so we had to carry our luggage from the car ourselves. 3. After an evening massage, we ordered a pot of ginger tea which was delivered promptly, but the staff member mistakenly noted the wrong room number during our WeChat conversation. 4. There was a major oversight during checkout: the concierge forgot to load one of my very valuable luggage bags into the car. 5. A neighboring guest explicitly and repeatedly stated they had a severe onion allergy, asking multiple times for no onion in their dish. The server confirmed this on the spot, but onions were still mixed into the food when served. The guest immediately had an allergic reaction and their hands started shaking after eating it. 6. No deposit was collected during check-in. The front desk informed us that any consumption could be settled separately and immediately, which made the payment method confusing. 7. During the massage, the two therapists repeatedly chuckled privately. I couldn't understand what they were discussing, which significantly detracted from the experience. Overall, the natural scenery is impeccable, but there are numerous shortcomings in food hygiene, attentiveness of service, and guest safety.

The room was spacious, and my basic room booking was even upgraded. The location is excellent, with a fantastic balcony view, and I even got to see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise. The room facilities were also quite good, and the service was very nice. It was truly an unforgettable trip.
