When you arrive at the East Gate of the ancient town, the guesthouse sends staff to help transport your luggage to the property. The service is thoughtful and attentive, and the stay experience was excellent.

Located right within the ancient town, this hotel offers warm and welcoming service. They have a dedicated parking lot, and the hotel staff (especially one young man) were very enthusiastic about helping with luggage. The environment is beautiful and unique. I loved it and will definitely be back!

The No. 9 Courtyard is absolutely stunning! The Naxi-style modern Chinese courtyard has an amazing ambiance. You can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from here, the room is clean and quiet, and the service is attentive. This is definitely my top choice for Lijiang!

We really liked the hotel. The service was very good. The stuff helped with everything, starting with delivering our luggage ending with running a bath for us. They were always in contact. The tea ceremony was especially good. We really enjoyed the time here

The biggest surprise of my Lijiang trip was definitely choosing the right guesthouse! From the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by the courtyard garden; the scenery and ambiance were just perfect. I couldn't resist taking countless photos there every day. The room experience far exceeded my expectations – it was exceptionally clean, and wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The location couldn't be better, just a two-minute walk to the east gate of the ancient town. Plus, they thoughtfully arranged a small cart to help with luggage transfer, which made the whole experience absolutely fantastic!

Stepping in, I was immediately blown away by the stunning courtyard views; the ambiance is just perfect for photos, and I couldn't resist snapping pictures every day.

Shuhe No. 9 Courtyard is such a wonderful place to stay! 🌿 The courtyard is lush and green with incredible style, and you can even catch a glimpse of the snow-capped mountains sometimes! The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Supervisor Lao Cai and the staff are all incredibly attentive and professional, making for a truly relaxing and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

Traveling with two kids, the family room was very spacious, and the view outside the window was perfect for a moment of quiet contemplation. Shuhe Ancient Town is peaceful; we took a walk around the town morning, noon, and night, and each time we discovered something new.

This hotel features unique wooden architecture with high ceilings in the rooms, and the blackout curtains are absolutely fantastic. The courtyard is spacious and grand, with a superb combination of a dry landscape garden and natural wood tones. It doesn't have the cramped feel of typical Jiangnan gardens, and you can even get a distant view of the snowy mountains from the backyard. The value for money is also excellent. The coffee shop at the entrance, which they partner with, is perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the autumn scenery.

The location is very close to the East Gate of the ancient town. The butler and front desk staff are exceptionally warm and provide thoughtful service. The courtyard view is also very beautiful!

The environment here is great, and the staff, especially the young man, was very helpful. He picked up our luggage from the East Gate and even brought it to our room. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. The hotel is right at the entrance of the ancient town, and there are restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

The room amenities cover most needs for a stay, offering great value for money. On nice days, it's very pleasant to stroll and have tea in the courtyard. After taking a taxi to the ancient town, staff picked us up on a small motorized tricycle. The service was warm and attentive. We even received complimentary drinks from the owner when dining in the ancient town. Breakfast included self-serve rice noodles and other buffet items, and the quality was quite good.

From the terrace, you can even catch a glimpse of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – the views are absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean and elegant, blending traditional elements with modern amenities. With a Simmons mattress and humidifier, every comfort is provided. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful, from handling luggage to providing travel reminders, showing great attention to detail. Breakfast is rich and delicious, and facilities like the restaurant and gym are also excellent. Overall, it's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a delightful atmosphere. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway or for taking beautiful photos. Highly recommended!
