Wenjinyuan Old Town Private Panoramic Courtyard

The hotel is perched at the top of the old town, offering stunning views. The room was well-maintained and comfortable, with welcome and daily treats like fruits, milk, snacks, and a nightly dessert. The staff truly stood out, from the driver who picked us up at the train station to the attentive butlers who provided excellent recommendations and helped book attraction tickets. Overall, it was an experience well worth staying for!

This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past.

Jiajia's service is 1000%, recommending us tea shops, restaurants and even preparing a takeaway breakfast for us the next morning as we have to leave at 7am for our tour. Thank you so much for the warm service and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Everything is absolutely amazing. I enjoyed traditional Chinese architecture of the hotel so much. It feels like being in the Chinese traditional dramas. Location is also very convenient ,over looking the entire Lijiang old town. Staff is exceptional, really they go above and beyond to help and make me feel comfortable. Everyone is lovely, attentive, and always there to help, especially Jimmy. Overall I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough. The staff, the setting, and the services are all top-notch. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for the memories we created there. Thank you to your entire team for making my stay and also my trip in Lijiang so special. ❤️

The top point of this place is the location and view from the room. The room is spacious with direct view over the Old Town. The staff especially Jimmy is super helpful.

Excellent location overlooking the entire old city. Very warm and welcoming, helpful team of staff. Very comfortable beds. Only minor thing that I would suggest to improve is to have a door in front of the bathroom.

Fully enjoyed the whole stay from train station pickup, well decorated rooms , fantastic views, excellent breakfast and responsive staff. We highly recommend this facility for anyone planning a trip to Lijiang. Thanks to all the staff for our wonderful vacation memories.

It is an excellent hotel. We liked it a lot. Xiao Li arranged everything for us nicely. Xiao Wang was wonderful as well. We really liked it a lot and will definitely stay there if we visit Lijiang again in future.
