The hotel is nicely located in the old to find. You may have difficulties finding it though. With your luggage, it is hard to find your way there, up many stairs. So, I recommend that you reach out to the hotel before checking in. They are kind and helpful to provide help for you to find it, and will also help you with the luggage. Very kind and helpful staff. They seek to provide a feeling of home for you, and are not afraid to make eye contact, engage you in conversation and ensure you are settling in okay, and have all the help you need while you are visiting Lijiang. The location was just perfect, it's right up the alley just right outside the bar street. You do need to walk around 5-10 minutes (depends on your speed) from where the car could stop at. The walk is through the old town so I barely felt it. Fair warning, there are 2 flight of stairs to go up to the hotel, it's not exceptionally high but I get quite out of breath every time. The staff helped carry my luggages from the main square right into my room, and down again. Even asked them to helped bring it down a few hours after I checked out. The staff are super helpful and I loved the room (exactly like pictured), I don't usually go out at night but it's so near to everything that I went out every night. Amazing stay! Hope I could visit again someday.

Excelent little home hotel in a very good location in the heart of Lijiang Old Town.A 10 minutos walk from the water wheel and from almost any of the most interesting spots.Very confortable beds in our family room and excelent service from the staff helping us to book the tickets to the Jade Dragon Mountain Cableway and giving any advice.They almost do not speak any English but with Google translate you solve the problem.As you cannot reach by taxi to the hotel(there is a 10 minute walk to the spot you can take a Taxi or a Didi),it is recommended to ask them to do the transfer in from the airport or train station.You can contact them using" we chat " once you make the reservation.The only weak point I would say that it is the breakfast which it is a little basic if you are western

It’s good experience to stay inside the LiJiang Old Town. Service from Summer is excellent! Thumbs up.

- Location: Very near the Dashuiche but still in the heart of Lijiang ancien town, just steps away from bustling streets filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural sites. - Hotel design: charming blend of traditional architecture and modern comforts. The rooms are beautifully designed, full amenity, comfortable bedding with AC and electric blankets which are invaluable in the snowing days in Lijiang. Our rooms also offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ancient rooftops. - Staff: warm and very friendly, best ever 😄. Summer and his brother and sisters provided us exceptional service throughout the stay. They kept contact us before arrival, helped us arrange the tickets, tour to Yulong mountain (unluckily, we could not make it to Yulong because of the heavy snow but we got full refund with just a little transport fee). They also gave us recomendation of very good restaurants and lead us there if we can not find the location. Highly recommended!

Check-in was smooth. She helped arrange taxi pick up to train station. 2) 夏天 (summer) showed us to where to take tribal costume photo , made chinese tea for us . Took us to take a taxi to train station 3) 小安， who made us feel at home and provided us with relevant information about where to go 4) 小杨who helped with our baggage We had a hectic day from 玉龙雪山，was dropped off by 车师傅 at 丽江古城入口 。幸好联络上 小迪， she came over to pick us to hotel. While 小迪 doing the rooms check-in, Sunny made us welcome drinks, 普洱茶 + 鲜花饼. Tea is fragrant and heartwarming. ❤️ . 国泰民宿让我们有个在 丽江美好温馨 的住宿体验

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of the Ancient City Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The location was absolutely perfect – situated right in the center of the area, it was a hub of activity during the day, making it easy to explore. As the sun set, the place transformed into a lively spot brimming with music and vibrant nightlife. One of the highlights of our stay was the dining options nearby, which were abundant and diverse. Impressively, we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner as late as 11 pm, which added to the convenience and charm of the area. The hotel staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly and efficient check-in process. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, offering us a variety of tea upon arrival – a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Their open and warm approach truly made us feel at home. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the facilities were equally delightful. What stood out was their attention to detail – we were greeted with a welcoming fruit basket and premium beauty products in our room, which added a luxurious feel to our experience. Given that the hotel is located on a hill, the staff's assistance with our luggage was greatly appreciated and made the arrival process smooth and stress-free. Overall, our stay in the ancient city was enriched by this wonderful hotel. With so many accommodation options available in the area, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, perfect location, and thoughtful amenities. 10/10 would recommend this place to stay when you’re in LiJiang. Strategic and convenient location with a few minutes walk to the centre of the LiJiang Old Town, super warm welcome and amazing service by Summer and team, tastefully decorated homestay with well-equipped modern facilities. If you’re a tea fan, you will truly enjoy learning and tasting Yunnan tea as the hosts here are tea connoisseurs. Overall, this is one of the best stay I have ever tried and I would totally visit LiJiang again just to stay here 😍

Very excellent service, friendly staffs, very clean as well. Me and my family enjoyed the Rose Pastry given by the staff, it was the best Rose Pastry we ever had throughout our trip in Yunnan. Also the oatmilk drink they made for us every night is very nice too! Just a few things to take note of, this place is located right inside Lijiang Ancient City so cars are not allowed to go in, you will need to travel by foot to reach to the inn. The inn have a staff to help pick up your luggages from outside the Ancient City to the inn and it is quite abit of a walk and a few flights of stairs to climb as well. Highly recommended for adults to stay but not-so senior citizen friendly due to the number of stairs needed to climb.

This was the perfect place for our first stay in China. Place is immaculate & modern but still retains the old town charm. It is perfectly located in the old town to explore everything. Despite the location on a popular street, our room was absolutely quiet. Beds are comfortable, superb amenities and wonderful host. The host Summer is excellent and very helpful! As non-Chinese speaking tourists, we were quite anxious about the trip but Summer helped with every little thing!

Beautiful inn with oriental deco. Staff was very friendly & helpful ensuring all our needs are met. Location is excellent right within the old town. Nice view of the whole Lijiang old town from balcony.

I have a mix feeling about this hotel. The location is superb as it is right in town, next to the very happening bar street (in case u don't know, Lijiang has the most happening bars in Yunnan), even though it is in a corner that avoid the bar noise but the room we have facing the village so we hear the loud music at night until 1am. I heard other rooms don't have this problem so maybe if u sensitive to sound, don't book the one facing the village. Our room is very big as we booked the large one, it is quite nice, feel a bit ancient. 180 degree view over the ancient town is beautiful.. But the bed is very hard, i expected much better bed for the price we paid as our room is premium. But the bed sheet/pillow/blanket is of good quality. Toilet is a bit old and can be improved for 4star standard. Other than that everything else was great. Service is very good , the team is very helpful, they prepared 'dry snack' for us as we had to wake up early to go to Snow mountain. And their 'dry snack' bag has a lot of good stuff in it, nice yoghurt, fresh fruits, good pastry, water, nice milk. That makes me feel very warm-hearted. I will consider going back here if they have better mattres, and renovate their toilet a bit, block the noise better from the window
