I booked this hotel based on positive reviews and after visiting I would not be surprised if those reviews were not fake. Check in was terrible, arrived two hours before the check in time and I was told the check in starts at 3 you can leave your luggage here. That was fine by me. I was told I'll receive a QR code that will give me access into the hotel and also into my room. That code never arrived, when I got back to the hotel the very same receptions, young long dark hair was outside giggling with a guy who was doing some work for the hotel. I asked what happened with the code and her response was their system was down, told me to go inside and her colleague will help. Went inside, the reception stunk of sewage and sat there for good 10 minutes and that colleague never arrived. The same receptionist walked back in from the outside and tried to justify the reason that she simply forgot to send that code for the hotel access so she resent it. As I didn't have wifi to access the email I asked to connect my phone to hotels wifi but she didn't know the wifi password. After accessing my email I got the qr code that gave me the access to the room. When I asked about my room number instead of politely replying to me she said it's in your email. I asked for my luggage that she stored upon my arrival and she didn't know what she actually stored asking was out a black suitcase? No it wasn't. Tiny lift that can not fit two people with the luggage took me to the small room that at first appeared clean but even after the budget renovation or was just clean on the surface. I mean the whole place will remind you more of a budget hostel than a 3 star hotel. The photos I took will show the level of cleanliness. The worst part was the breakfast which I found out starts at 7.30 on the weekends as the receptions never shared any information about that nor about the afternoon tea. The natural yoghurt they serve comes in a jar that is not hermetically sealed but rather its got some lid on that has not been washed since poetically probably the opening of this hotel. Please see the photos attached. The hotel offers a small gift of you don't want your room cleaned the next day. I regret opting to have our cleaned as the madrid has only given me one towel in the room for two and very poorly laid maid the room. Please see the photos attached. The long hair receptionist completely ignored me when I arrived from the walk on the second day of the stay, as I was waiting for the Lucy she was leaning across her desk kind of hiding from my eye sight. Weird! Her female colleague with a shot hairwas standing by the desk and without any greeting angrily staring at me. Maybe because I gave a poor check in score from I received a check in follow up from ******* where I asked the manager to contact me regarding the negative feedback and that never happened. This is by far one of the worst experiences, maybe because I don't stay in this kind of hotels and i have higher expectatio
