Looking at the ball, next to the downstairs is the home stadium of Lille; there are Auchan supermarkets and shopping plazas in the vicinity of the walk for ten minutes, many restaurants fast food restaurants; clean mushrooms cool to clean up the room without a tip; stayed for three days, only received One-day parking fee (9.5 Euro), the parking ticket is valid for 24 hours, and can be used multiple times during the period; the front desk is warm and courteous, check out and leave directly (no room card, enter and exit with the password)~

Mr very welcome at our arrival small room very comfortable and beautiful we didn't sleep well these very clean , small restaurant very beautiful lunch just a little it could make more choice but overall it is okay , In contrast to a staff woman I gave the impression of being watching as I was infiltrated in the hotel for lunch she asked my room number what is normal but looks insisting , strange . Also a very large parking easy to park ,My note and 8 out of 10 👌

Une situation climatique dangereuse relayée sur tout les médias ne semble pas pas une raison suffisante pour annuler sans frais même en dernier recours. dois je en déduire que j'aurais du mettre ma vie en danger pour en pas perdre d'argent ! mes valeurs c'est de discuter et de trouver des solutions à tous les problèmes, je ne laisse jamais un client sans réponse et n'applique jamais une décision sans l'avoir expliquée. Enfin et surtout je sais faire la part entre ce qui relève de l'exception et en tenir compte pour adapter mes réponses en faisant preuve d'empathie pour apporter les réponses les plus justes De fait il était donc inconcevable pour moi de ne pas prévenir l'hôtel, ce que j'ai fait par téléphone, dès que j'ai eu connaissance des dangers potentiels pour moi et mes clients avec la décision (de mon client d'ailleurs) pour la sécurité de chacun, d'annuler tout les rendez-vous (ce qui s'est avéré une très sage décision) Mais cet établissement a préféré me renvoyer vers la plateforme de réservation en m'indiquant ne rien pouvoir faire pour moi ! Ensuite apres avoir pris contact avec la plateforme elle m'a indiquée avoir demandée une annulation sans frais par écris qui est restée de réponse semble t'il. Quand la même plateforme me demande de faire aussi une demande par écris faute de réponse, toujours pas de réponse de du groupe (ni mail, ni téléphone et pas de trace de réponse sur la plateforme) par contre ils n 'ont pas oublié de débiter une nuit sur deux, ce qui en tout honnête est bien prévue au contrat pour des annulation après 14h pour le jour de l'arrivée. mais j'aurais aussi en toute honnête soit apprécié une réponse aux sollicitations écrites soit une capacité a modérer une décision quant cela est du à des conditions dangereuses incontrôlables et difficilement prévisibles. il semble donc que cet établissement ne partage pas du tout le même système de valeur que moi et même si je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de le visiter, il est claire que je n'en aurais pas plus envie dans le futur car du fait de ne pas avoir pu réaliser ma mission ce cout ne me sera pas rembourser ni par mon client ni par mon employeur… chacun en tirera sa propre conclusion mais personnellement je sais dorénavant que j'éviterai cet établissement.

The Mercure Lille Airport gives a solid impression when you enter, it looks renovated. The room we got was big with an ample bathroom. It was all very clean, no complaints whatsoever. But when we went to the restaurant to have dinner we were getting a totally diffrent opinion. The menucard was very short ( that is normally no problem) but we were surprised when we served the starter ( on the menu is was stated as ”duo pate”). We got on the plate 2 tiny tins (just from the supermarket) the only thing they did was opening the tins!!!! Very bizar and far away from the famous ” french cuisine”. Main course was mesh patatoes with fish, really nothing worth remembering. Having seen the quality they presented we skipped the dessert. Furthermore a ladysinger and a guitarman were making music so loud, that is was impossible to have normal conversation with each other. After discussing this with the waiter we could move to a table in the ” ouskirts of the diningroom” and even then it was too loud. Mind you the public consisted of 5 to 6 people, so why the lady set up such an alarming voice was very questionable. All in all conclusion : hotel/room 8 out of 10 , restaurant 4 out of 10. Breakfast in the morning was luckely very OK! completely different compared with the dining experience.

The hotel’s transportation is not particularly convenient. It’s not easy for our car to go to a meeting every day. We have to walk a long way to get to the station, but this hotel is relatively new beside the main road, so the sign is very obvious and it is relatively easy to find the hotel’s front desk I did not wear a uniform. It looked like a part-time job. The room was simple compared to domestic hotels. The room was very crowded and small. The only surprise is the hotel’s breakfast, which is richer every day.

On the last day of our stay I had to get onto reception to clean room no toilet paper no clean towels. The receptionist said you were in your room. That's why we could not clean it, so 8 said OK my husband and I will go out for an hour. We came back and the maid was just finishing off the room. The walls had filled in holes and wood hip paper over them. The toilet no bleach down and had to use my hand wipes to clean toilet. You have to mind all the steps when getting out of toilet and bathroom, also make sure you shut your hotel door properly as it does not shut itself. The breakfast croissant were greasey, I took my own teabags. As the ones they had were mint and the coffee pod machine was filthy don't use. We stayed in room 306 avoid, as you will here very loud noise off buses, cars beeping there horns at each other every night and day. Before the pandemic we stayed in room 308 that was OK. When you try to speak to reception they don't understand you unless you speak in French. Breakfast we went for 6am and around 7am was absolutely full no seats or tables. Seats are like wood and metal tables all wonky. One of the machines were broken in breakfast area. One of the breakfast staff always swapping things round when your trying to have a quiet breakfast. Like setting bowls and hot plate up again. Say its a 2 star instead of 3 star, the microwave you can only put microwave chips on from carrefour. Lille is 4 times expensive now and beggers argue with you and follow you around till you give them money. If you don't give beggers money they try to take your bags off you and I think got the jest they are threatening you. You have to walk away from them quickly. We will never go there again.

Ideal location in the middle of everything in the city.

Stayed here for one night as staging post to start a rail holiday in Europe. Super convenient location directly across from Lille Europe station and just a few minutes’ walk from the Euralille shopping centre and the city centre. Whilst the public areas appear to have been updated, the rooms clearly haven’t for some time. Whilst terribly dated in design terms and very worn, the room itself was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a decent selection of hot and cold items. Definitely worth considering but only if you don’t mind a trip back to the early 90s in terms of room decor.
