Grecotel-Luxme Daphnila Bay Dassia

We had a lovely week in April at this superb hotel. The view from our room, a "Limited Sea View bungalow" was amazing and not "Limited" at all. We could see across the Ionian Sea to the mountains of Albania and Mainland Greece. The room was rustic chic, and very charming. The cleaners were very efficient and kept the room spotless. We were delighted not to have to wear wristbands to enjoy the Luxme AI package. The main Buffet offered a large variety of both hot and cold foods. A special mention to Angeliki who excelled at customer service and always had a welcoming smile. We also enjoyed the excellent Speciality Restaurants and would like to mention Costa and Meina who served us in the Taverniki restaurant. (Remember to download the App before you visit as you can book the Speciality Restaurants from seven days before your visit). We had a relaxing week, there was always a quiet spot with plenty of sunbeds to be found in the Beach garden area. Where there is a fully stocked bar, alongside a pizza kitchen and crepe and ice-cream stalls. We recommend taking the water taxi into Corfu Town. Don't forget to walk to the Ypapanti church on the water if you have a chance, it takes about fifteen minutes. In the opposite direction is St. Nicholas Beach which is also a fifteen to twenty minute walk. Oh, and the patisserie in the reception area at 15:00 every day except Sunday, is well worth a visit. Overall we had a superb time and look forward to a return visit when we can.

Fantastic Hotel. Unbelievable food and drinks selection. Great private beach with Bar and food outlets. Great room and views. Highly reccomend for a luxury hotel stay. Close to corfu town by bus or speedboat. The staff were very helpful and always courteous

We just had one of the best holidays ever! This hotel is amazing from start to finish. As soon as we walked into the hotel we knew it was going to be great as the staff greeted us at reception with facecloths and drinks and took us a quick tour of the hotel. Our bungalow was really too class, we were amazed by the size of the room, it was huge. We had a huge bed with beautiful canopy over it. The room had a nice balcony with a view over the bay and right out to the mountains of Albania, it really was something special. Everything else about the room was great like the powerful shower, bath, mini bar, coffee machine and big TV. We spent our first few days around the pool sipping cocktails and eating from the pool bar. The pool area was great as there was a large outdoor pool and a smaller inside one for the kids to play in the shade. There was also a lovely little pool and loungers hidden out the front. Pool was well staffed with a pool attendant, people giving out towels and lovely bar staff doing table service. The pool bar did a great selection drinks and food, everything you would want really. Our next few days were spent down on the beach and this is where the hotel really shines. The beach, surroundings, bar and grass area is pure luxury. My family absolutely loved our time at the beach. It felt more like a 5 star resort. The beach area had everything and more like fresh towels, comfortable loungers, crystal clear water, beautiful grass and trees, pizza made fresh in front of us, massive drinks menu and I could go on and on. The hotel food was probably the best we have ever experienced in an all inclusive hotel and bear in mind I came here with a family of 5 picky eaters but they all loved it. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the super staff. From the reception to the bar staff and restaurants. They are just so nice and happy to help you with anything. Our daughter was not well and the staff had a doctor come see us within 15mins, I could not believe how well she was looked after. Even first thing in the morning the staff phoned us to check how my daughter was feeling. There's a pharmacy not too far down the road where we were able to get a prescription from the doctor. I have been travelling to different resorts with my family for years and this one is definitely the best. I really don't have one bad thing to say and everyone who was there at the hotel talked about how great it was too. I would recommend this spot and will be back again. So sad to be back home 😭

So I'm not going to write a huge paragraph but here are some pros and cons: Pros: Amazing, friendly staff Great cleaners Good location Nice views Good beach Well kept pools Cons: . Crowded, echos, full of noisy children . Breakfast, lunch and dinner queues are packed . The hotel rooms are very moldy and have stains in places . Mosquitos. So many mosquitoes. . The indoor pool is packed full of children and it's the only useable pool . The outdoor pool is colder than the sea . The food is not very good and takes "looks over taste" very seriously . The cues for the pool tables have no tips . Too many people crammed in one location . You can hear every little noise from the neighbouring hotel rooms . The rooms absolutely REEK . Theres a sewage problem with the bungalows and you can really smell it . The football pitch is pretty much destroyed . The tennis courts are full of sand, making it easy to slip over . Lifts are wobbly and feel unsafe . Its an incredibly long walk down to the beach . Sometimes, the sun loungers aren't set up properly, so when you sit on one it retracts and bangs you on the head . Wasp problem. There were about 7 drowning in the help-yourself jam . The mattresses are the cheapest thing ever, my "double bed" is just two single cheap mattresses crammed together, I can feel all the springs as well. . There's sand in the beds. . The non sea view balconys are just overlooking crowds of people, so it doesn't feel very private . Lack of privacy . Lack of a lot of things that a "luxury" 4 star hotel should have.

Lovely Beach Resort unfortunately to many children spoiled it a bit for us. We thought most would be at school this time of the year. Breakfast buffet we went to once as to many children screaming. The app they tell you to book restaurant s is very misleading as we booked reservations and found they were in the other hotels far a way to walk. The Greek taverna on the beach was lovely which we had managed to book for our anniversary and made us feel very special with champagne! Will say the staff are lovely. And the bungalow we had over looking the sea was lovely and cool and spacious. We also enjoyed a day on the boat to the imperial hotel which was beautiful. And had an adults only beach which was nice and quiet. This hotel is fabulous for families but not really so good for couples

We had an amazing time at Grecotel Lux Me Daphnila Bay Dassia. The staff really made our experience so special- specifically Theoklis Karagiannis, the best sommelier and member of staff we have met before. He really made our experience in the Hot Stone restaurant phenomenal, as well as being great company during our wine tasting! The food at all a-la-carte restaurants at the hotel were amazing, the novelty of the Hot Stone and flavours at Asia Olivia and the Fine Dining restaurants were standouts to us. We were so sad to leave the hotel, and we definitely want to return. Thank you to all of the lovely staff at the hotel!

Such an amazing stay - and we haven’t finished our holiday yet ! The staff are so accommodating , the food is the best all inclusive quality we have ever had and the cleanliness in all parts of the hotel is top notch we will definately be booking for next year without hesitation My husband even had this birthday surprise and a bottle of cava waiting for him in our room today !! I can say enough about this lovely place ❤️❤️ There are children here , yes but they also can go on holiday so please don’t be put off my poor reviews about children think that’s a shame 😳 The families are lovely

We had an amazing time here. From the very warm welcome, providing cold drinks and towels, seamless check in, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout. The accommodation was clean and to a high standard throughout - we had the bungalow option. The grounds are spotless and beautiful with lovely local flowers and planting throughout. Really nice being all inclusive and not having wrist bands, good range of drinks on offer. Food at the buffet and a la carte was excellent quality, tasty and good variety. The only challenge was the difficulty in booking the a la carte restaurants, which you needed to do before you got there, but even then seemed all booked up. However, we got two reservations, the frontdesk team led by Elvina was incredibly helpful, securing a reservation for us. The staff in all the restaurants and bars we went to were friendly, first class, professional and efficient - always on hand to help. The beach was phenomenal in the bay, clear, calm waters. No problem with sun loungers on the grass above. The swimming pool was nice, but cold in end May. Securing sun loungers is the usual competitive business. Would highly recommend for families. Felt looked after. Nice relaxed vibe in the hotel, while the hotel management and staff still deliver high standards in a wonderful setting.

We arrived last night ,hotel is nice but over run with children so not the place to come if you don’t like kids running around everywhere day and night . Apparantly you can bring all yout children free .There are no adult only areas,one adult only restaurant which you are allowed to book once !!! Very disappointing .
