this hotel has an excellent location. While having breakfast on the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. the rooms are spacious and clean. I'll be happy to come back here again.

We always stay in Lindau when traveling to Europe as we love the place. Only staying one night with my friends, we weren't able to stay in the hotel we usually stay at and so tried this place. It is related to the Bayerisch Hof next door where my parents have stayed many a time. It is pricey, I will say that but it is very, very nice. Reception was friendly and courteous and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable and clean. The balcony over-looking the harbor and the lighthouse was great. Breakfast was fantastic, one of the best we had on our whole trip. Overall this is a great a place to stay when in Lindau with a great location and easy walking access to everything. They even have their own parking garage. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is actually three hotels side by side. When we made the reservation we thought we were reserving at the Bayerischer but it turned out to be the Reutemann which everyone refers to as the Seegarten. The sign above the entrance is Reutemann. If you are now confused then join the club. The best approach to these hotels is to head to the train station, turn left and go ahead and park in the garage or the gated lot. Press the button and give them your name and they will open the gate. From here you can go back to the street you drove in on and checkin down the street across from the bicycle shop. We opted for a room with a view of the lake. We did get a view of the lake however, there was a large tree that blocked most of our view. The hotel was nice and the breakfast was well stocked and the service was very good. The room was spacious with two chairs, a fridge, separate bath with shower. The hotel was convenient to several restaurants in the area. We thought the rate and the 28 euros for parking was somewhat overpriced for the quality of the lodging.

Our room in the Hotel Reutemann was so great - large, beautiful balcony overlooking the lake and the pool. The location is super - on the lake in the heart of Lindau and with (paid) private parking! The room was large, with all the conveniences, and super comfortable and quiet. The hotel has an indoor pool also, which we used as the weather was unusually poor for August the 2 days we were there. The indoor pool was a bit cold, but nice to refresh and relax after site seeing. Breakfast was very good - a lot of choices including eggs made to order. I am sad the weather didn't cooperate for our visit to Bodensee, but if/when I go back, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice, grand, old hotel in a great location. Rooms could definitely use a facelift (carpet, curtains and bathroom are all pretty dated and not in a quaint kind of way). Definitely caters to an older crowd. Good breakfast.

Balcony room 115 WOW… Thank you Mr. Magnus Hutter for your exceptional, professional service. A sincere and warm welcome, informative, attentive, such a rare find! The hotel is 5 *****, location ( best in town), excellent facilities, beautifully decorated, great room, cleanest ever, but most important- great service! Mr. Hutter is a gem! AND THEN … just when I thought &it couldn’t get any better BREAKFAST served by Bilal Sigva! Big smile, very efficient and professional! Thank you also to Judith!

The hotel was great, the restaurant a disaster. Waiter was so drunk he could hardly stand up. Mediocre dinner took nearly 3 hours after they canned the waiter. They charged me full (expensive) price. Later, after we had gone to bed, sent a bottle of wine to our room.

We only had one night in a lake-view room on the second floor. Not the biggest room but adequate and quiet at night despite facing the esplanade. Lovely breakfast and helpful staff: also we had an excellent lunch on the terrace restaurant, people-watching - very pleasant and relaxing. The one surprise in what was overall a very pleasant and sophisticated hotel was that there was no complimentary water in the room - there was water in the mini-bar and since it wasn't mentioned on the mini-bar price list, we (wrongly!) assumed it was free. Apparently it was regarded as mineral water...
