Stayed a couple of days here. The hotel is run by Timo on reception who seems to do everything and anything at the hotel. He is really helpful and speaks English very well and provides a cheerful approach to what he does. It takes around 35 mins to walk to Lindau but there is a bus which locals say can be a bit adrift with the timetable shown on the board. You can take a boat ride from Friedleichstein (we took a train there)to Landau and it takes an hour and a half. The room is compact but has everything you need minus an iron and ironing board. Mosquitos can be a problem at night so you have to keep the shutters closed and curtains closed. There is no air con so in the heat of summer this might be a problem. The gardens are pretty and well kept.

The small hotel is located in a park-like setting immediately adjacent to the historical park and mansion „Lindenhof“ with it‘s friedens.räume offering spaces for contemplation and discourse. A magnificient alley leads to the premises. We were heartly welcomed and enjoyed barrier-free accomodation with a fine breakfast selection served on the sunny terrace with a stunning view. Lake Constanze is reached by a short stroll through diligently manicured nature. Service is immaculate and all amenities are offered. Strong recommendation !

Herrliche und gepflegte Gartenanlage wo man sich in einem der bereit gestellten Liegestühle ausruhen kann. Ebenfalls sehr positiv ist das Frühstück zu erwähnen. Da fehlt wirklich nichts was das Herz begehrt. Schade fand ich, dass es keinen Fahrstuhl im Hotel hat und auch eine Klimaanlage würde ich bei diesen heissen Sommern begrüssen. Im Treppenhaus wäre es angebracht wieder einmal abzustauben. In der Hochsaison war der Preis von 240.- Euro für meine Begriffe sehr hoch, da das Hotel 2 1/2 km von der Insel entfernt liegt.

Piccolo hotel con bel giardino in zona molto tranquilla e vicina al lago.
Camera piccola ma confortevole anche se le persiane chiudono le finestre solo a metà.
Colazione prevalentemente orientata sul salato.

Nettes Hotel mit wunderschönem Garten/Park. Das Zimmer mit seitlichem Balkon war ok und das Frühstück/Buffet sehr gut (es wurde ständig nachgelegt) und man konnte sowohl draußen als auch drinnen sitzen. Dies alles rechtfertigt jedoch nicht den hohen Preis!

Da die Hotels in der Lindauer Innenstadt komplett ausgebucht waren, entschieden wir uns für das Hotel Lindenallee. Es ist schön gelegen, aber das Hotel müsste sich eigentlich Hotel Garni nennen, denn es gibt keine Möglichkeit dort ein Abendessen zu bekommen. Der Zimmerpreis für 2 Personen inkl. Frühstück beträgt 196,-€, was ich als eine Frechheit ansehe. Beim Frühstück wird man dazu genötigt Einmalhandschuhe zu tragen, was überhaupt nichts bringt. Das Zimmer war auch nicht richtig sauber. Auf dem Sichtsyphon im Bad haben sich schon mehrere Schicht Staub angesammelt. Beim Auschecken hatten meine Frau und ich beide Hände voll, aber der Mitarbeiter - welcher hinter uns ging - war nicht bereit, uns die Türe zu öffnen. Er beschwerte sich nachher, dass es seit Corona keine qualifizierten Mitarbeiter mehr bekommen würde. Ich meine, er müsste sich mal selbst "an die Nase fassen". Kurz gesagt, keine Empfehlung und wir werden dort sicher nicht mehr übernachten.
